Went from birth baptised Catholic to DEVOUT STAUNCH ATHEIST

When I was born, there was a Catholic priest who immediately baptised me right there. My mom still is a very devout Catholic and her social life revolves around the church. I did not go to other denominations. I became a devout staunch atheist. Anybody who ever seriously read Bart Ehrman's books, critical-literary analysis on the Bible, and the HISTORY of Christianity (by Diarmaid MacCulloch, a masterpiece and I recommend it to EVERYONE and yes it's very thick and dense it took me several months to finish it), can no longer in their right mind believe in the world's greatest lie, fiction that is Christianity. Jesus was a human being. He preached JEWISH ideas. Dying on the cross was a common punishment for political rebels in the Roman Empire. A lot of his quotes and anecdotes in the New Testament were added later and not in the older manuscripts. (which suggests they are literary inventions) The veneration of saints is just a remnant of european polytheistic paganism. Virgin birth motif existed before Jesus. His followers were just shocked and traumatised that they had to reinterpret EVERYTHING from the Old Testament and the circumstances surrounding his death (very Jewish tradition to turn every suffering into a sign from the God) so Jesus could TURN INTO the God. I'm curious what other members of this forum have to say about this.

late-diagnosed

to all late-diagnosed adults and those that are suspecting autism as adults, what exactly were your ‘repetitive behaviors’? For me repetitive behaviors were mostly internal thoughts on loop. I didn’t have any stereotypical autistic visible stimming-like behaviors which probably made my autism invisible suffering for too long.

Talk Therapy for Autists & My fellow Berliners

Are there any members here who also live in Berlin, who went through the autism diagnosis and talk therapy provided by any of the big 4? (Charite Mitte, Charite Benjamin Franklin, Humboldt, KEH) I wonder what talk therapy would entail, and if it might be helpful at 1. reducing persistent emotional distress 2. improving social skills. But therapy aimed to 'improve social skills' to me, feels like telling blind people "at least you should TRY to see" or people without legs "at least you should TRY to walk". It almost feels like another form of soft violence imposed by neurotypicals, as if I didn't 'TRY' my entire life trying to form positive social relationships or maintain employment but fail eventually every single time, because I cannot escape the neurological constraints.

Who else got their fast-track citizenship during the SHORT legal window?

I applied for citizenship just after 4 years living in Germany total, threatened to file Untätigkeitsklage right on the 91th day after submitting it without actually filing it, was moved to the front of the line immediately, and got my coveted Einbürgerungsurkunde. And then fast track citizenship was abolished. Who else has this experience?

Replaying conversations but ESPECIALLY unpleasant ones

Are there people here who can't just 'let go' of conversations after they happen and play them over and over and over again in their heads until they feel trapped by their own minds? Any conversations but ESPECIALLY unpleasant ones? For example, someone publicly correcting you or confronting you.
