I Did It!

Whooph...

The actual MAN GAME, and personally I'd rate it 10/10

Never played any rhythm games and I'm definitely not a slasher-fan, but this one totally nailed everything: The gameplay is easy to start hard to master, the visual fidelity bombards through the game, the plot and characters are simple enough to never stop playing, and the songs... are actual bangers I wanna listen to again

Outside of the "cheesy" to my test ending, the game is still immaculate and I'm gonna replay it. Thanks

Should Minecraft Have More Bosses Apart From Ender Dragon?

I've just finished watching a vid about guy beating Minecraft with 0 knowledge about the game (rue is the channel on YT)

I wish he'd seen more of the game, but beating it actually feels like an end. I always felt like that and assume he feels something similar — there is no point in exploring and finding all those peculiar structures if I've finished the game

So I thought: what if Minecraft had more bosses apart from the Ender Dragon? You'd need to find different rare items, to open the portal/tomb/whatever to fight a different hard boss and get the unique loot

That would make:

  1. "Beating the Game" more non-linear
  2. Give meaning to all the "unnecessary" structures like ancient city, jungle pyramids, mansions, and especially ocean monuments
  3. Motivate to keep playing and exploring even after beating you first boss

Potentially it could make beating the Dragon less meaningful, and turn into something repetitive, like a "to-do list". I just want those places to make sense. Ocean monuments, for instance, look very interesting, but there is no point in going in there in terms of progression or loot

DS1 Is Kinda Better Than Bloodborne

Hi all! Yesterday I beat Bloodborne for the first time and wanna share my experience

First of all: I've got plenty of experience in other FromSoft games. My favorite is probably DS3, yet I love DS1. I also finished DS2 (less interesting to me) and almost finished Sekiro (I lost interest just before the last boss) + Bits from Elden Ring

Now you know a bit of my background, let's start with the most obvious:

The game is easier than Sekiro. When I learned two things (How to parry on Gascoigne and how to control my ego on Amelia) everything went too smooth - Every following boss was beaten under 2 tries (except for the Blood-starved beast (4 tries)) and literally none of them was interesting in a way I'd remember them or challenging. They look scary, but are easier to beat even then DS1 bosses, man

Second obvious thing:

Locations are kinda all dark and look too alike for 20hours of play. If I compare them with DS1, I can right now recall 5-7 peculiar locations that looked very unique. It was easy to tell where you are and where you are heading. With Bloodborne I've got only a black city, a black village, and a black forest, dude

Third obvious thing:

This point isn't as bad as others, but there is almost nothing you can get in Bloodborne locations even in comparison with DS1. Please, take a closer notice:

In Bloodborne we have all those similar, dark locations that aren't that interesting visually, but then we find out that they aren't much interest from usefulness pov. The most interesting and important loot in this game is either echoes, keys, or one of 4 existing upgrade materials

In DS1 in comparison you've got basic souls, but also much weirder upgrade materials for different kinds of weapons that cost something if you don't need them at least. Then humanity that grants you extra hp, better looks, and online features(I ignore this one personally). Humanity is very different, because you can easily lose it in comparison with insight. Then there are tons of armor sets, weapons, magic spells. Maybe I missed something, but consumables are always boring in almost all games, all runes are just tiny buffs, and you also don't want to swap weapons, cause they are very self-efficient in most situations. I don't remember any spells, but this is probably my bad

Oh. That's mostly it. Wait a second, I remembered:

Fourth not so obvious thing:

The plot is kinda shit. Ok, the last one is more of a rage bait, because I don't know what's going on in DS games too lol. But still, watching a couple videos made it clear that the story is too crazy and unnecessary dim

----------------------

Fine, this is it

It's not to say I disliked the game. In this post I talked about the things I noticed and felt the strongest about. Generally I like combat in DS games but in Bloodborne it's much cooler as a fact. And I didn't touch the DLC + I've missed 6 optional bosses from the og game! (Partially because I didn't bother to vacuum clean locations as much). Stylistically the game is also more interesting than DSs. Architecture, costumes, weapon designs are quite unique and the game is unforgettable in a good way

That's the most important. Have a nice day!

How Do I Remove "ARMOR" Gauge?

Hello Everybody!

I've recently downloaded VeryLastKiss's New New Vegas [ https://www.nexusmods.com/games/newvegas/collections/jscbqj ] and after this big collection, the only mod I added was The HUD Editor [ https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/67470 ] to remove all the unnecessary hud I didn't like

But there is still this annoying armor gauge on the bottom-right of the screen space. What do I do? There should be no other mods to do anything with the hud. Maybe I've missed something? I would be really grateful for your help. Please

Why Are There No Mods That Change Gameplay?

Hi all!

While modding, I always want to add new gameplay features and interesting mechanics to make the experience more immersive and varied, yet I always notice the same thing happening: A mod adds mechanic, but there is no ground for it

Let me give you a simple example. I really love Enhanced Movement mod, which adds ability to prone. By itself, it's really cool, but there is too little place to use it in an interesting way. The mod doesn't add vents inside houses, that require you to prone, so you could potentially gain tactical advantage

I understand that such mods are complicated to develop. I'm just tired of seeing the same mods doing very similar things without actually changing the feel of playing. I wanna find comprehensive mods that add a cool mechanic and change things in the world to play with this mechanic better

Maybe you know these kinds of mods? I don't remember finding those, all I hear is either collections or another weapon pack. I'll be grateful if you could recommend me something valuable

Have a nice Day

What Are Your Thoughts On My Robotic Arm?

I've been working on this thing for 2 weeks in a slow pace and generally I'm pleased with the result as it's just a render model. Maybe in the future I'll optimize it, but now I feel the urge to begin creating vastly different project -- Product animations

I'm open and grateful to any critique, especially if it's long & thoughtful
