I don’t know why I’m writing this, I was supposed to come and lurk and leave, but I feel compelled.

I’m a diehard Engene (or Enclown, as all of you would say, and with the state the fandom has been in I’m afraid I can offer no rebuttal to the nickname 😭). And an Ever too!

(When I say die-hard I mean DIE HARD I don’t remember the last time I called Hoon and Won by their full names 🤣)

I wanted to conduct an experiment on myself, to see how well I would take opinions conflicting to mine. My exams ended recently and I’ve been working on this for some time now.

I’m Jake biased (I would say dozen biased but I don’t really know what that word means could someone explain it) and I’m sorry this got me rolling on the floor -

I think what happens to him is something similar to what happens to Jungwon. Wonnie is an incredible singer with a beautiful voice and I get literal chills hearing him sing. But because he is inhumanly good at dancing it overshadows everything else and his vocals get paid dust.

It’s the opposite with Hee. He’s so good at singing that people ignore how good of a dancer he is.

I mean the Ride or Die choreo is so satisfying to watch, especially the little steering wheel in the chorus 😭

THE BRAND RENEWAL IS SO COOL. This is coming from someone who really does not vibe with sleek minimalist styling. Truly I don’t. But they sold me on it. It was so well made, the use of colour and shadow and the symbolism GOD I HAVE SO MANY IDEAS. I loved the track they used too!

I honestly love the new logo. I wasn’t that attached to the old one to begin with to be entirely honest, but this one has me INTERESTED. It’s so THEM, while looking so metal and so chic at the same time. Another addition to my list of tattoos I wanna get someday.

And all this content what do I do with all this content I need to make a catchup schedule I still haven’t watched Hoon’s MIlan vlog.

I wanna make such a huge huge post with all my thoughts (the zodiacs. so cool. COSMIC BOY. JAKE. PLEASE BE MY COSMIC BOY. Also - the colouring of the TS:B cover is so interesting? I have so many THOUGHTS I hope my brain doesn’t explode from all of them while I’m asleep.

I have such whiplash (also the renewal video was so whiplash? Aespen collab when) from listening to the Evan songs and then coming to We’ll be fine.

Like what am I supposed to feel now. Am I supposed to curl up into a ball and sob over Overflow or dance around my room to We’ll be fine. Why’d they have to release such different songs at the same time it feels like a backstage costume change in my playlist right now.

Between We’ll be fine and the new SKZ release it’s like the K-pop boys are all hyping me up for finals ✨

Anyways I’ll go off to sleep and tomorrow I will deal with the mountain of work these men have left me.

I did re-download Instagram and Threads to wish a friend on her birthday. In doing so, I ran into massive discussions about Hee and his new music.

I didn’t participate or even read them to be honest, but I could tell that there is a lot being said about him and most of it is, well, not fair.

I‘ve been really out of touch with everything for over two weeks now so I cannot comment, but I do have something I do when I get sad about the hate my favourite idols receive, and I wanted to share it with my fellow Evers!

If the hate is too much for any of you to take, or if it is especially unfair (as hate often is) and illogical and you can’t even reason with the person cause they’re that dumb, do this.

It helps to realise that they have the same 24 hours in the day that you do. And they choose to spend it talking about someone they supposedly hate; while you’re engaging in something you love. Besides, all PR is good PR. If it leads to more people checking out the songs Idgaf if you think he’s ugly 🤣

Listen to the song. Trust me you’ll feel so much better after. Imagine Hee bopping to it for extra effect.

I’ve been gone I think about 15-20 days? I’ve been studying for my pre-professional exams, and all my socials are deleted. All I have is YouTube because I need the study with me videos and Josh Johnson.

Regardless of my determination to avoid anything remotely Enha (and Evan) related till 29th, these men have clearly decided to ignore my wishes 😃

The exam that was supposed to be today (26th) got postponed to 27th, and then I have a practical on 29th.

God how much longer must I wait I CANNOT WAIT UGHHHHHH.

I haven’t so much as touched anything remotely Heeseung (or Enha) related (did he dye his hair again or am I getting confused), I’m saving it all for myself in a big Bambi shaped gift package to be opened on 29th.

(even if my sanity is slowly draining out of my ears I waited MONTHS for this and now I have to wait more because of exams on subjects I DON’T EVEN LIKE)

I kid you not this is the third time in a row that this is happening.

The Sin : Vanish was released on the exact day of my PSM (public health) Ward Leave(it went amazing I scored really high).

Ni-ki’s cover was released on the day of my ENT (otorhinolaryngology) Ward Leave(also went awesome).

And now Hee’s debut is on the day of my first pre-professional exam for third year, PSM-1.

Who in BE:LIFT has my exam schedule and why are they so adamant about sticking to it 😭

I was genuinely so upset yesterday because I’m logged out of everywhere, and I was nearly in tears thinking I would miss his debut because of my exams. I’m here right now because I forgot to log out of my browser and couldn’t resist checking one last time.

I’m taking this as a sign that this exam will go really well too. I unfortunately will not be listening till around 26th June, when my theory exams will end, but what’s four extra days compared to two months of waiting.

So nice of Evan to leave me a little gift for completing third year 🤭
