Reducing noise pollution and hearing damage for recreational shooting should be encouraged, and said attachments in no way make firearms any more dangerous. You shouldn't have to jump through hoops just to get a device that, in countries like England, they'll sell you over the counter.

Every person involved with this should be voted out, as they clearly are not very serious people and should not be in the highest seats of power. As you know, out of the many serious issues our country faces that should be addressed with bipartisan efforts, top priority among those are meme/vibe based bill to keep a morbidly obese MANPAD fodder plane with a cannon that can't even kill modern tanks flying in our skies.
