Watching my cats always reminds me of one of the beautiful teachings of Islam: mercy.

The Prophet ﷺ taught us to be kind to animals and reminded us that every act of compassion matters.

Sometimes, caring for a small creature teaches us patience, gentleness, and gratitude in ways we don't expect.

I'd have to say Hawawshi.

It's one of Egypt's best comfort foods, yet I feel like it doesn't get nearly as much attention as Koshary or Kunafa. Crispy on the outside, juicy and perfectly seasoned on the inside... simple but absolutely delicious.
