"morning sickness"

Hello!

I'm 8 weeks pregnant, on Aug 7th I started experiencing super bad nausea/vomiting, zofran wasn't helping.

My primary doctor prescribed promethazine, I took 2 doses and was still getting sick, unable to eat and a little dizzy, I ended up going to the local ER Aug 12th for fluids and some help for my nausea. They gave me fluids and IV reglan and it helped so much I was able to eat!

The ER nurse also prescribed doxylamine-pyridoxine which I started the next day Aug 13th. I had one good day while on that, then ended up back where I was even with continuing that med, promethazine, and zofran.

Yesterday I was unable to eat at all, I took a few bites of eggs and bacon and instantly felt extremely sick.

Today I woke up dry heaving and eventually puked bile, I tried eating a Popsicle and it came right back up..

My obgyn at first said maybe stomach bug, but now he's replying very short and unconcerned.

My primary doctor just told me today that his wife found that puking and getting it over with rather than trying to take meds is what helped her and suggested crackers...

It's now 11pm and I'm dry heaving and super nauseous which is preventing me from taking my meds...

I have POTS, HEDS, and I previously had chronic gastritis.

My doctors are basically saying this is normal, but I'm already a very small person, I can't be losing weight..

Any advice? Someone that works with my OB said she would talk to him tomorrow for me as he's not really listening to me, she also said go to er if I feel I need to before I hear from her. She also mentioned I may need a Zofran pump, which I'm trying to avoid lol..

Update just seen a different obgyn, I got diagnosed with HG and prescribed reglan 😖🤞🏼

Question

Hi! I found out Tuesday I'm pregnant, possibly around 4-5 weeks!

This is my first pregnancy ever.

I had a question, and I do plan on asking my doctor as well, but I thought I'd see what others say while I wait!

I'm supposed to get a small tattoo on Sunday, am I still able to get it or should I hold off? I've seen conflicting things online.

Thanks everyone! I'll be holding off! :) I appreciate everyone being kind and not judging!! :)

So on Feb 17th I noticed a small "rash" on my feet/legs, took a picture, then forgot about it as I tend to get random "rashes" that go away.

Turns out it's petechiae. It would go away and come back worse from February 17th to beginning of April.

I seen my primary Dr and they were unsure. I got into a dermatologist on March 23rd who mentioned vasculitis and pigmented purpuric dermotois but wanted to check my platelets, I went and got the CBC and it only showed a few abnormals that are normal for me and also high Eosinophils which is new.. she diagnosed as pigmented purpuric dermotois and was unsure why Eosinophils were high but what she was looking for was fine to call back if it doesn't resolve.. (my primary ended up testing for parasites and it was negative and just said we would keep track of CBC) a couple days later the petechiae came back worse, including swelling in my feet and ankles. I called dermatologist and they decided to refer me to vascular surgeon. I just seen him, and he said it's a rheumatologist issue and dermatologist should of done biopsy while petechiae was present.. my legs have been clear since the swelling flare but I do feel weird sensations of soreness in my legs... he said to call dermatologist for biopsy if it comes back, and if vasculitis they can send to rheumatologist for treatment etc... I ended up asking my primary doctor to send me a referral to rheumatologist as I also do have HSD/HEDS and used to see one.. he ended up calling me and saying I do not need a rheumatologist, that I'm fine, and he only went along with dermatologist sending me to vascular to ease my anxiety, I just have pigmented purpuric dermotois like dermatologist originally diagnosed me with... I told him dermatologist is the one who sent me to vascular and he said he knows and stop wasting my money on all these doctors... I have insurance that literally rarely denies anything...

I've had no recent med changes, no changes in anything in home, ECT.. most recent sickness was October with lymphagitis from a cat bite where I was hospitalized but even vascular said unlikely to be related.

I have HSD/HEDS, POTS, GERD, chronic inactive gastritis with intestinal metaplasia, and occasional high BP.

24 yr female.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar and may have some advice!

I was Previously diagnosed HSD/HEDS, POTS, chronic gastritis and intestinal metaplasia. I'm 24 year old female!

Not looking for a diagnosis, just seeing if anyone has experienced similar! My dermatologist mentioned vasculitis!

I Started experiencing petechiae on my feet/legs in February as a small light area, then I've had it on and off since and worsening, seen a dermatologist who diagnosed with pigmented purpuric dermotois, until my most recent flare shown, swelling, tingling/burning. She is now referring me to vascular... I have an appointment next week!

Legs are currently clear, although I've been having more joint pain in my ankles than normal, and some soreness/ weakness in both legs!

it's petechiae/bleeding under the skin!

My main worry is it will just continue to come back worse!

Recent CBC included, my eosinophils are pretty high! My primary had parasite testing done and it's clear! He said we would jus keep track! No new meds or allergies!
