Pilates studio owners, I want to ask you something

A little story first :)

I'm a big fan of Pilates and I've been doing Pilates for more than 2 years now. I'm also really into tech, so at some point I had this idea of building a booking system made specifically for Pilates and yoga studios.

But when I started looking into it, I realized how hard it would be to compete with big companies like Mindbody and the other big platforms.

So instead of trying to build another software from day one, I decided to start small.

About 6 months ago, I started a small service business helping Pilates and yoga studios get more clients through their website, Google Business Profile, SEO and other digital things.

I've now had the chance to work with a few studios and learn a lot from the owners.

But now I want to improve what I'm doing.

I don't just want to build websites or do SEO because I know how to do it. I want to build something that actually solves painful problems for studio owners and gets real results for the studio.

And this is where I need your help.

We all know getting clients is one of the hardest parts of running any business, but I'm sure there are many other problems that studio owners deal with every day that people outside the business don't really see.

So if you own or run a Pilates studio:

**What is the hardest part of running your studio right now?**

Is it:

* Getting new clients?
* Turning trial clients into regular members?
* Keeping clients for a long time?
* Empty spots in classes?
* People asking questions but never booking?
* Booking/CRM software?
* Marketing?
* Google visibility?
* Managing instructors?
* Keeping your schedule full?
* Something completely different?

And if you could make one problem in your studio disappear tomorrow, what would it be?

I'm really interested in hearing the honest answers, even if the problem has nothing to do with what I currently offer.

I'm asking because I want to understand the business from the owner's side and build around real problems, not assumptions.

Also, after reading the answers, I would like to choose 1–2 studios to test something with for free and see if we can actually solve one of these problems and get measurable results.

So please share your experience in the comments. Even if you have a small problem that sounds stupid, share it. It might actually be something many other studio owners are struggling with too.

And thank you 🙏

Looking for co-founder

Hi everyone,

My name is Osama, I'm 22 years old and I'm from Casablanca

About 4 months ago I started building a small service business focused only on yoga and Pilates studios.

The idea is simple: help independent studios get more clients through premium websites, Google Business Profile local SEO and better digital systems.

So far I've worked with 3 studios and they've been really happy with the work. I've learned a lot in a short time, and I feel like I'm just getting started.

The biggest challenge for me isn't building the websites or doing the technical work I actually enjoy that part.

The hard part is sales and outreach

I'm a bit introverted and I find it difficult to keep doing cold outreach and sales conversations every day. I know it's something I need to improve, but I also know there are people who genuinely enjoy talking to people, building relationships and closing deals.

That's why I'm making this post.

I'm looking for someone who might be interested in building this together.

You don't need to be an expert, and you don't need any technical skills. I'll handle the websites, SEO, and all the technical work

I'm looking for someone who enjoys sales, marketing, talking with people, building relationships, and wants to grow something from the beginning.

The long term vision is much bigger than just building websites. I want to become the best digital partner for independent wellness studios and eventually build products and software for this industry.

If you're interested, or even just curious to chat and see if we're a good fit feel free to send me a message

Even if nothing comes from it, I'd love to meet people who are excited about building businesses.

I’m dealing with a 13 day Google Maps review attack and need advice

I’m dealing with a serious Google Maps review attack against a small women-only Pilates studio in Rabat. It started on May 1 and it’s still going. We’ve had fake accounts, repeated review patterns, and even one account uploading private identity documents in the photo section.
Google already replied that they won’t disable reviews on a business listing, and that if we have a court order we should send it through the legal thread. So right now I’m trying to figure out the smartest next step.
Should I keep replying in the existing Google threads, submit more evidence, or move to a different channel?
I’m not looking for sympathy. I’m trying to figure out what actually works in a case like this. If you’ve dealt with Google support or platform abuse before, what would you do next?

12-day coordinated fake review bot attack male profiles on women only studio same accounts reposting after removal 3 open cases police complaint filed nothing works

We manage the GBP for a 100% women-only Pilates studio in Rabat, Morocco (Forma Pilates). Since May 1st we have been under a coordinated attack by a single attacker using multiple fake accounts.

The key facts that prove this is a coordinated bot attack:

2 male profiles (Laurent Duval, Jean Luc) reviewed a studio that physically cannot admit men

Same accounts (Camille Bardinet, Al Mansouri, Hajar Idrissi, Salma El Amrani) were removed by Google Trust & Safety then reposted identical reviews the next day

1 account uploaded a government PII document (Moroccan national ID numbers) to the photo section

1 account falsely claims the owner "is wanted by justice"

The attacker exploits the edit loophole — edits one word after flagging to reset the spam filter

What we have done:

5 Google channels used: Trust & Safety, Legal, Merchant Extortion Form, Reviews Management Tool, Redressal Form

3 open case numbers: 4-5104000041156 / 7-3885000040946 / 2-7959000040936

Google confirmed 2 removals but the same accounts reposted immediately

Google refused profile freeze request

CNDP (Moroccan data protection authority) complaint filed

Criminal police complaint filed under Article 447-2 Moroccan Penal Code

We are stuck. Removed reviews repost the next day. New accounts appear daily. We have exhausted every standard tool.

Has anyone faced reposting after confirmed removal? Is there a Product Expert who can escalate an emergency internal ticket for this profile?
