I am going to write a whole lot of things some of which maybe I myself dont support, but its just a thought and I will share it. I want opinion of you guys on this. This post is for males of the community who are strict about their genetic identity as well as concerned about future social construct of the community. Its kind of mix of orthodox and modern thinking. First of all if you are studying in some good college you will know the situation of a lot of girls of our community there, wont specify it. Parents of such girls don't teach them about community, caste and decency but all of a sudden when they get to know about their affairs they force these girls to go for arrange marriage against their wish hiding their past from groom's family . Such women can never be a good mother and they will ruin the whole family. These parents should either teach them or else f** off from the community.

Now what should the males do. I think that men in our community are still more traditional and conservative about dating compared to girls. We are at the appex of the system and socially, genetically and phenotypically mostly better than others so we got nothing to gain from ICM. Remember all those low life males who cry for ICM to show themselves as champion of anti caste are actually insecure about their caste,looks and identity, they blabber a whole lot of things but we all know what they actually want. All of them plead only caste above them in hierarchy to give up caste identity for marriage, and do honour ki**ing when its their women with blue pigeon males. So never ever come under guilt trip of those ugly souls.

I think males of our community should become more open and get into this new culture. This will also push us to work hard on ourselves to improve our looks and physique. Look for girls by yourself who you think are good for you both socially and for your family and lineage future. But one thing that I can never overlook is the autosomal ancestry and religious and cultural understanding as it affects upbringing of children, appearance, height, and even other features. So I think if not the present generation atleast in next two generation things will change and we need to transform our community accordingly -

First of all any V1 across the nation(north, south east, west or even north east) should be acceptable, we should remove the subgroup division even in AM setting.

Then V2 have similar autosomal admixture (still some variation) and relgious and cultural understanding like us especially in North India so it should be acceptable.

Other than that only V3 in the northwest and few top dominant landowning communities in the north and west will not deviate you much from the community (they are still significantly different from us). SIBs are quiet different from their surrounding as they are descendant of north brahmin migrants and marrying any community in south will have profound effect on them.

But whoever is thinking of marrying anyone below this remember it will not end with you, this will get tranferred in your future generation and it may cause existential crisis in your future progeny, if you are doing this, move out of the community. It is self harm to marry in communities that have done nothing other than being so called opressed for 3000 years and now have poor victim mentality.

I think in the future we should move from being a patriarchal (which we no longer are actually) to patrilineal community.

I have seen a lot of brahman guys writing this and even adding him in edits. I know he was one of the greatest bhakt of Mahakal, I know he was well versed in shashtras, yeah I know that his veena impressed even lord Shiva, yeah I know he composed Shiv Tandav, but he was still Ravan - a perpetrator who abducted someone's wife, opressed his own brother, had arrogance about his knowledge all these destroy whatever good he had ever done in his whole life.

I know our present generation needs to look upto someone who is powerful, aggressive, highly educated and skilled as we have become too soft lately but there are thousands of great men why include this rakshasa. I know he was son of maharishi Pulastya but he was a rakshasa at the end, his behaviour, his ideologies were demonic only he had knowledge like a brahman. So I can never comprehend this logic of praising him.Moreover his mother was a rakshasi.

So if you want to take inspiration from great men from scriptures (who feared no one) I think it should be bhagwan Parashuram. There have been thousands of great fighters and rulers from the community in last 2000 years, take inspirations from them.

Does anyone have any data which tells about the distribution of y haplogroup among kayasthas in gangetic plains. What is the dominant y haplogroup among them is it R1a or farmer related or indigenous ones.

Brahmin bros from UP, whom are you guys supporting this time in assembly elections.

For me unfortunately its yogi only, yogi isn't as good for us brahmins but the other one in competition is complete evil. The goons of SP are worst thing that can be imagined. So yes situation of brahmins is not very good under yogi, there have been several custodial de**ths, targeted attacks on brahmins but still its far less than what happens when the other one gets in power.

From what I have observed there are a lot of brahmins who are not going to vote bjp this time and best thing for us will be a weak bjp government as it being too powerful will make yogi arrogant again. At present brahmins of UP need development, if UP develops it will help our community a lot. BJP is going to win this anyway because they will give freebies for sure. So this time don't persuade anyone to vote for bjp let a weak bjp government be formed.

One thing is very clear, I am not going to vote for demand of dindu unity lolipop anymore.

And never forget UGC Act was proposed under central bjp rule, the day this party becomes a liability for us UCs we should curb and demolish it under our feet because we made this party what it is.

A brahmin here. I recently made an account on X and I was disappointed by the amount of vile things brahmins and bhumihars are saying to each other on that platform. They are literally targetting women of each other communities, enjoying crimes on each other and making jokes on character of women of each communities. What kind of dehatipana is it ? We are literally being clown and showing foolishness for other castes to enjoy. Is it justified? How can this be corrected?

I actually belong to Awadh region so initially I did not have any idea about your community but since I was raised in purvanchal I got to know about bhumihars through my friends altough most were reluctant to discuss about their identity . I am not gonna lie but I was also the one who considered bhumihars claim about being brahmins as larp. And dont get me wrong this was just due to ignorance.

​I mean consider my community and see the number of fake communities larping about being brahmins, you surely would be suspicious about any claims made by anyone or else you would ruin your genetic identity, but since I started using reddit and reading about genetic ancestry I got to know that among all the communities claiming to be brahmins in gangetic plains bhumihars were actually correct, if there was some more difference between brahmins and bhumihars I would have thought your community as kshatriya due to your profession but you guys have preserved the genetic identity quiet well and are almost identical to us even after being a small community. So your community is just another example of brahmins themselves hurting the attempt of their own people to rule and own land like they have done with mohyals, tyagis and chitpavans.

So just wanted to know how can this hate be ended. I know a lot of arrogant brahmins will still deny you the status but that's basically been the feature of brahmins across the subcontinent. And thats why I have not posted it on brahmin sub or else some will again start fighting. One thing I am sure is that a lot of hate between two communities on internet stems from personal conflicts of those guys.

At last will say that others can't conflict as much damage as animosity with your own blood brothers can and vedic aryan history has lots of example of this.

We brahmins are born to win everything that this world has to offer and we should work hard to achieve it.

Some pimps were supporting the idea of giving a varna shankar breed the right to use woman's father's surname, the woman who didn't even respect his identity and his community, such woman are not even brahmin and have no relation with our surnames.

Some give lame excuse of being inbred and that's why they want to marry in other caste. Lol I think they are actually inbred. What we can do for this is to support all subgroups to start marrying among each other to reduce if any such possibility exists, but nah man no way someone marrying in community who don't have any history, any courage, any identity, any philosophy, any achievements other than being opressed (and don't even discuss their genetic ancestry lol) should be allowed to be considered a brahmin even in dreams.

I have seen that there is this very common behaviour among people of one particular region that whenever there is a crime case from UP these people start making fun of whole state saying "offcourse I know it will be UP🤡" and the funny thing is similar cases happen in those sorry states too . What do you think we UPites should do about it. Dont you think these deluded shameless sub*human looking, crass speaking bitchass who continuously keep whining about ourstate should be countered in the language they understand quiet well.

As far as I know it is said that Indo Europeans diverged into Iranians and Indo aryans and they descend from Indo European population that used to speak a common proto Indo European language. And in India it is considered that R1a is responsible for spread of this language and it appears in y haplogroup distribution among masses but then why don't Iran (below 25%) also have significant distribution of R1a haplogroup. If both descend from same population speaking a common language how is there a significant difference in Y haplogroup. So does it mean they were always like two different groups of people speaking same language

Do we have any study or research data which tells us the percentage distribution of different y-haplogroups among gangetic rajputs of awadh and east up. As far as I know there is one data which keeps floating on the internet which states that rajputs of jaunpur are overwhemingly of R2 y haplogroup. Is it same for all other districts in that region or jaunpur is somewhat an exception. What maybe the percentage of R1a among them.
