So I,m getting a good sized inheritance in a few weeks.

My old garage is a wreck, it was a wreck when we bought 20 years ago. Its about 20x20. Last year a tree took out a corner of it from a storm. Mom passed in February and left me a good inheritance.

Wife said I can do anything I want as long as she gets central air and a hot tub. So I picked out a 24x24 Amish garage. Im planning on turning the space into a man cave/garage. Mini split for heat/ac.

Question does anyone have a good screen option for the garage doors. Id like to be able too open them during the evenings but mosquitoes can be bad here lol. Also what do you recommend for lighting. Im a mechanic and I like to detail my vehicles.

Definitely will have a gaming area. Couple older pinball/ arcade machines/ big screen and comfy couch. Its something ive always wanted but never had the chance to do.

Just looking for ideas as im starting from scratch and its a blank canvas.

Garage delivered installed with drawings $24k

Ive earmarked another 25k for electrical, and finishing inside. Ill be doing the work myself.

Thoughts, suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

Just remembered I found these cleaning out my parents house.

They were in clear plastic folders, uncirculated, no wrinkles except the newer one looks like something chewed the edge.

Daughters first floor.

She spilled a huge drink on an old floor decided to replace the floor. She did 90% of the work I just cut the boards. Literally the only construction thing she's ever done. Im proud of her and she learned a skill and may save her some money some day.

So im new to compound bows. Bought 2 vintage ones from mp for 50$ just to shoot at my brother in laws farm. First is a Heat super Slam and second is a a PSE. Both needed strings as they had been hanging for years in a garage. Took them to Cabelas told 40$ for one string and 190$ for the Hoyt. 2 days later I get a call saying they won't work on the bows. When pressed the guy said his manager said no they are not safe. I said what makes them unsafe. He said the strings and one is missing a slider rod (pse) I said ok well can you put one on? He said yeah but manager said no. I said ok can you order me the parts. He said no. Is this wierd?
