Do I need a new book, new kalimba, or to adjust something?

Hi All,

My 10-year-old has an 8-key kalimba she received from her grandmother, but the music book doesn't make a lot of sense with it. It refers to a kalimba where the longest tine is a C, but hers is G. Online, the maker says that her kalimba is in the key of C. However, the book references F/4, which her kalimba doesn't have.

I am adding pictures to show what we are working with.

Please help me figure out how to get this sorted. Do I need to buy a different book/kalimba, tune/label it somehow? For reference, my daughter can play piano and read music. Her teacher is good with theory and could theoretically help her transpose, but that seems so onerous across all the songs that she won't do very many of them. She is a fanatic for folk songs and especially for Christmas music, if anyone has a recommendation that would work with this instrument.

Thank you!!

Baby Last Name: Dad's pervy one or Mom's basic?

A family member firmly believes that he should get to have his last name go on the new daughter. His last name has both a negative connotation (think prideful), and an association with male genitalia. His wife's last name (which she kept) is an uncommon classic with easy spelling.

He is insistent that he was never teased for having a last name that was basically a swear word. His wife is insistent that she knew several girls with last names like Cox, Cummings, etc. who were routinely bullied in a sexual manner from a young age.

In case it matters, he is no to low contact with his parents and is an only son. His father is an alcoholic who treats everyone horribly. His wife's family lives near them and they see each other frequently. The wife's mother is a bit of a handful, although generous in many ways, but the wife also has many sisters who are fine; there are no brothers in the wife's family to pass on the family name, although one sister kept her name and gave it to her child. The wife's father died young, and was an exceptionally good father and person.

Please weigh in with how they should name the baby. For reference, the chosen first/middle names are classic girl names and do not clash or sound weird with either name.
