Hidden status bar causes keyboard to shift screen down

Opening the keyboard shifts the screen down a bit, this happens in almost all apps. Re-entering (not restarting) the app usually returns it to fullscreen

This has been the case for at least a year (S25)

any help?

status bar: hidden everywhere through systemuituner, (see immersive mode)

navbar: swipe gestures from bottom, hints disabled

camera cutout: shown in every app

Remove Panel? (not hide)

is it possible to remove the bar that's called "panel" in the settings? I don't need it at all, it doesn't change color when I toggle webpages (through the dark reader extension)

and hiding it leads to incredibly annoying behaviour when having 2 tabs next to eachother (going over to the left tab with your cursor causes the panel to appear)

I have not yet found a way to simply make it disappear, so I'm asking for help here:)
