Zx4rr uk insurance

I’m 24 and doing my direct access in a few weeks time. I’ve had bikes all my life but never ridden on the road (MX/trail ) I’ve set my eyes on the zx4rr as I think it’s 70hp is a nice level of power to start on and always loved the inline 4s some of my family members owed when I was growing up. After doing some quotes on MCM compare I’m getting the standard “we don’t wanna insure you” prices of £6000+ from a handful of insurers.
I’ve got 7 years no claims on a fairly quick car with no speeding/convictions

Is there anyway to bring this down at all or am I clutching at straws? Any tricks of the trade or work arounds that are still viable ?

I just can’t justify doing my full license and ending up on a 125 for NC500 next year trying to keep up with my family’s 600cc+ bikes 😂

Any advice would be really appreciated. Looking forward to getting on the road soon!

The worst broadband company ?

I’ve recently moved back into my parents who use three WiFi. The last 4 weeks every weekend we’ve had no WiFi. When I check network status it says “maintenance in your area”. However, no matter what post code I put into the network status checker it comes up with “maintenance in your area” it doesn’t matter if it’s up north, down south left or right. It’s clearly just an auto message response and a blatant lie. Everytime we call up they are “sorry but maintenance is being carried out” they say it’ll be back up and running later. It never comes. Then the next day it’s still off.

The whole thing must be a scam. How can they get away with not providing WiFi to you when we pay each month for the service? I’ve never had issues with any other provider. And apparently it’s gonna cost £250 to leave the contract.

So don’t give us the service we’re paying for and then make us pay £250 to leave ? Absolute joke. How are they aloud to do this?

Is there anyway we can get out of this god awful contract without paying the astronomical charge?
