"Gym 30 days in a row." "No social media for a week." Set the deadline, pick your stake, challenge a friend — or take on a whole group.

Lose, and the app you chose gets locked on your phone for 24 hours. Your record shows the loss. Your opponent sees it. Your witness sees it.

Every active vow has a flame that burns while you check in. Miss a day and it starts to die. Watching it gutter out hits harder than any notification I've ever swiped away.

Stakes go beyond app lock too, pay for the winner's meal, pushups on video, cold shower on video, donate to charity, or invent your own dare.

There's a Vow Wall where public challenges play out live, chat inside every vow, streaks, win rates, and milestone badges as you stack wins.

Six months solo. Android, three languages(English, Arabic & French).

I kept making promises to myself and quietly breaking them. No one knew, so nothing happened. So I spent the last few months building the thing I actually needed.

It's called "Vowd". You make a vow "gym 30 days," "no social media for a week" and set a real stake. Add a friend as your opponent or a neutral witness to keep it honest. If you lose, the consequence actually happens: the app you chose gets locked on your phone for 24 hours. There's a streak that visibly burns down if you stop checking in.

No money, no gambling. The stake is inconvenience and other people watching.

Some things I learned building it solo:

● The witness system was the hardest part, figuring out who can declare a loss without letting people cheat their own record took three rewrites.

● The app lock needed Android's Accessibility service, which meant writing a very clear permission explanation or nobody would enable it.

● Localizing to three languages (EN/FR/AR) including full RTL took me way longer than building the core features.

It's live on Play Store now. Happy to answer anything about the build, the Android side, or the accountability mechanics and genuinely want to hear where the idea falls apart.

I was develooping an android app for the past 3 months, after the app was successfully launched in play store, i wanted to add subscription payment methods.

Unfortunately, i not eligible for the play store pass program offering subscription payment gateways as Im not a resident of approved countries.

I dont want to use ads inside my app, so i seached for any alternatives, i found that using an LLC you will get access to stripe, and integrate subscription monetization to my app.

I would like you to recommand me to some authetic low cost online LLC business services (Preferably very low annual fees for tax....), maybe in new mexico, wyoming, and tell me your experience with LLC usage is apps, or websites.

I'm a solo dev in Morocco looking to set up a US LLC (New Mexico) so I can get Stripe/Mercury working for my app's subscriptions.

I found a service called yourllc.ma offering:

\- New Mexico LLC formation

\- One-time payment (\~2000 MAD), no annual fees advertised

\- Bundled help setting up Wise Business, Payoneer, Stripe, Mercury, and Shopify Payments

Has anyone here actually used them? A few things I want to know before paying:

\- Did everything (LLC, EIN, bank account, Stripe) end up properly in YOUR name/control, or did it feel sketchy/shared?

\- Is the registered agent actually free long-term or does it renew at a cost after year one?

\- Did they mention/help with the annual IRS Form 5472 filing (required for foreign-owned LLCs, separate from state fees)?

\- Any issues getting paid out to a Moroccan bank account after?

Trying to avoid getting scammed or ending up with a half-working setup. Any experiences good or bad appreciated.

• Notifications for invites, results, and deadlines
