Saw this little guy and tried to identify with AI. It told me it’s a Carpenter Bee, but no, he’s a rounded little beetle and he has cute little white legs. Spotted in CT. I checked “Connecticut Beetles” and scrolled and scrolled but cannot find anything like it. AI also guessed weevil, but my guy has a little rounded fuzzy face, not a long snout of a weevil.

I saved this clip from a TT video that @mathias_med.e7pro posted. I don’t have TT, but I saw it posted here on Reddit (can’t find the post anymore).

Anyway, I think I heard Baron say the magnet of the Rode mic was still in place (hence his receiver theory).

Yet, this video angle in particular slowed down frame by frame looks exactly like the magnet arcing up and to Charlie’s left, entering his neck at the exact moment and location of his fatal wound.

Can anyone please direct me to the proof that the magnet was still in place afterward please? I would appreciate it greatly.

I hope this is allowed, but I thought I’d share the link to the GoFundMe for Baron’s friend that recently passed, Jeff Armstrong.
