Is It Dumb for me to consider UIET or MAIT Civil rather than CSE Thapar? (ROI is not a great worry for me, obviously not a billionaire but will manage with loans etc)

I am getting Civil/IPE in CSAB (agar Bhagwan ne chaha thu) otherwise textile and biotech. I also have CSE@Thapar but my main goal is the tag as I want to pursue something else later and like every other Farhan from 3 Idiots (with no guts) I am doing Engineering just for sake of it. I wanted to ask whether Civil/IPE/Textile placements are good overall and
also I wish to go for analyst/non core so do companies allow these branches to sit? Help will be really appreciated, very stressed out tbh.

Got 95%ile General Male 84k rank . I just wanted to ask how is IPE/Civil Branch? I will get these in CSAB.
Just placement stats and overall scope considering PSU and no future MTech.
Not getting anything decent other than Thapar/private.
I will try for branch change but considering branch change doesn’t work out.
