Being a better dancer - tips ?

I’ve been dancing for a little over a year now and I’m determined to pursue becoming a better overall dancer. I grew up taking dance classes but do not have an extensive dance background or anything. I am able to do advanced dances and flair, but sometimes when I see videos of myself dancing it just can look a little sloppy/not under control.
Are there any tips to improving in general? I’m not set on looking super polished and clean, I want to go with the flow of the music, I just also want to look confident in doing it. Thanks!

Thoughts?

I’m going to play devils advocate, because we know how much Jenna loves acting and the acting world. She’s married to a director. Yes, I understand you have to push back a little when you have a growing family. Yet, OL didn’t start until 5-6 years after the Office finished. Her show “Splitting Up Together” was, for lack of nicer words, a fail. What’s wrong with just being honest? The role of Pam helped her retire very early on and she’s probably still getting plenty of Office money. There’s also a reality in which she could not escape her Pam role. It’s very hard to be one character for a decade and then magically switch it up. Steve and John and some others managed to branch off, but that’s a reality for most of the stars on that show. They still profit off their characters, and hell why shouldn’t they??? But I absolutely do not buy this PR answer of “it wasn’t a fit anymore” Yawn!

Teacher supporting Students thoughts?

Hi! Quick summary as I think i’m overthinking…

I work in an elementary school and had a few students on the same baseball team (mind you i’m a paraprofessional - not classroom teacher) and since April I have attended a handful of games. Most of the parents know me/recognize me and are always super nice and appreciative about me coming.
The catch is that this is travel baseball. we’ve been on summer break for about a month and i’ve attended one game. the other home games all got cancelled or rescheduled elsewhere.
Tonight is the last game they have before their tournament next week that leads to the champions. I usually would have absolutely no hesitation to attended, but this is an away game, and i’ve always been to home games. The game is only about 25-30 min away, but I happen to be going out tonight, and where i’m going is only 15-20 min from the game. my thought was to show up for the last 30 min or so before going out and just show my support for the end of the season.
to be clear - i’m making this post because i don’t want to make anyone uncomfortable or appear to cross any boundaries. like a home game appearing as a community event vs going out of my way for one. I just miss and care for my kids!
