hysterectomy pain

After laparoscopic hysterectomy how much pain is normal and for how long? I’m on day 4 almost 5 and I’m still in a lot of pain. I’m trying not to take narcotics but without it I cant do anything. I haven’t been able to hardly sleep because laying down makes the pain worse. Its like this internal soreness and sharp pain all the time with bloating. I’m worried I’m never going to feel normal again. My doctor keeps saying everything will magically be normal in 6 weeks but I don’t believe her at all.

Bleeding and bladder

How much bleeding is normal? Its day 3 and I’m bleeding moderately but not like soaking a pad every hour. Also I constantly feel like I need to pee. Is that normal? Is it temporary or am I going to have bladder issues the rest of my life? 😭

After surgery first day

Hello. Just got my hysterectomy at 23 years old. Woke up in cramping pain. I could pee but not fully. I felt like I constantly was going to pee myself because I couldnt empty my bladder. Nurses kept saying it was bladder spasms but it wasnt. I finally managed to find a method to empty my bladder but it still not fixed. It still takes me a few mins to pee because it keeps stopping. Anyone else experience this and will it go away? It is now 12 hours after surgery and I’m in minimal pain. It hurts laying down more than walking. No gas pains so far. Only pain I have is cramping on lower abdomen. I am also bleeding moderately and they said its normal.

Chest pain and breathing issue

23 Male. 2 days ago started getting weird breathing. Went to urgent care and they said lungs sounded fine. Now I’m getting pain in my chest and its worse whenever I breathe. Went to ER and they found nothing. Normal chest x ray and normal pulse ox. It hurts to breathe and it feels like my air is limited when I inhale. I dont know what else to do.

Is the timeline my doctor told me true?

So I met with my surgeon today and this is what she said. I will be able to walk and take care of myself right after surgery. I will feel normal by 2 weeks but just cannot lift anything over 20lbs. By 6 weeks I will be completely normal. This doesnt sound realistic at all but I wanted to ask if this is normal? I dont have endometriosis or anything wrong with my uterus. I just have abnormal bleeding from being on testosterone therapy. I am 23 years old. I can stay with someone but they wont be able to help me at all because they work all day. Is this realistic?

Frozen food or meals

Im trying to find a meal I can eat everyday that is healthy but high in protein. What is the best frozen or prepared meal and where? Ive tried lean cuisine but the chicken tastes horrible. I feel like all frozen chicken tastes horribke but its the only thing high in protein.

Hello, so I get constant heart palpitations all the time and its driving me insane. I have propanolol 10mg prescribed but I’m scared to try it because my blood pressure is on the lower side. Its usually around 100/60. Im worried about feeling faint or dizzy. Anyone else have low blood pressure and can tolerate propanolol? I tried to get on an SSRI but it caused me to feel super faint anf almost pass out multiple times. Idk what else to do. Ive lost my job and everything because of this.
