For reference ive played OW for nearly a decade and play smaller games with barely 1000 players and ive genuinely never seen a poorer more Bullshit matchmaking system in my life

I dont wanna be the blame my team guy, ik i probably sound like one but dear lord today ive just been rubber banded from getting absolutely stomped and having single celled organisms on my team to playing against them, I have fun in neither the first for the obvious and the second since I play characters like spiderman or cap where I struggle to get picks before my hitscan domes them from a mile away

Anyway the main issue is ive never seen matchmaking THIS unbalanced in any game ever. Bad OW2 lobbies were never THIS bad and idk if its cause I play characters that kinda depend on their team being semi decent to play front/ use the space i make but dear god the sheer helplessness i feel when I spectate my supports afk randomly or missing every shot while the enemy team plays like they just got drafted into faze flan frustrates the hell out of me. If it was a smaller game id get it but youre telling me this AAA marvel property doesn't have enough players to put me in a relatively similar skill lobby? It's making any chance of learning to actually play the game painful as well since I just get rolled over and over again or clear so quickly I cant actually learn anything

Fix your fucking matchmaking, getting to level 15 has been absolute hell and my first placement match was exactly like this.

Just to be clear im not new to hero shooters, I played OW since release until last year but I also realise how different rivals is from it some coming in with a fesh mind :p

For context im on controller and have done all the requisite spidey keybinds & the muscle memory for the Bhops is coming to me

My biggest issues currently are manging my get over her cooldown & executing once im in

What im doing is cluster->get over here-> uppercut

But i struggle to land anything else, the overhead feels very janky for me whether it lands or not and a support who ive dove has usually used a movement ability to hitting another cluster or melee is difficult for me

Any tips would be appreciated on improving my gameplay loop :)

I get that they want you to summon therefore wanna make the characters appealing but God can we have some morally bad/grey characters?

This frustration is mainly coming from 2.5, 2.8 & 3.0 for me

2.5:Ye Shinuan (forgive my spelling if its incorrect) why couldn't he just do bad things with his heart vaguely In the right place? It goes from "huh hes bad but wants to protect his sister" to "oh no actually its all this characters fault! (Who conveniently we will never get to play/summon for) and hes only bad when he gets possessed by evil creator magic!)

2.8:I like how they did promeia but cant we just keep her as an anti hero? Why does she suddenly have to be morally good after murdering hundreds possibly thousands because she met a snake girl she never spoke to again?? It just feels completely out of the blue that she starts to care about the proxy/billy/cissia for no reason other than plot

3.0:This is to a lesser extent but velina & norma having a darker side as "witches" could've been nice imo and interested me coming into the story, whilst its not done yet and they could be hiding something I highly doubt there'll be anything for them now. Having flaws and not being the perfect amazing people that they display themselves as for the public/proxies could've had interesting storytelling prospects and create interesting conflict other than "here's super bad guy! Get them!!!"

Sorry for the rant but I hope I got my point across, every character just seems to have to be the best person ever morally to fight the big super evil dude and theres not really any grey area anymore. I still enjoy almost all the stories I listed (except for the obvious) but wish there was more depth/nuance

Just a notice for everyone who hasn't tried him to try him in the new mode, the bosses might just be really favourable for him this rotation but I doubt it

For primordial he carves through her health and more importantly can stun lock her outside of state switch for the entire fight if you manage totalise properly

For manato the rate you can do ex supers along with how easy he is to stun if you just sit there and defensive assist means he gets completely destroyed

And He's very consistent on Billy, which honestly shows me that even on decently mediocre match ups hes incredible for the mode

Just wanted to post since im kinda shocked tbh? I get daily & norma our incredible but I really thought Jane Velina yuzu would handle better & slice through easily, lmk your thoughts & how easy you found the mode with what setups :p

you may think youve seen this post before... which you have, however i wanted to clear up some confusion on characters i have/ dont have & what my goals are for pulling

What i NEED right now:

-A premium stunner (all my others are tied up)

-An extra anomoly team (with wind coming i wanna try to guard against my miyabi getting nerfed into the ground)

What i Have/ dont have (relevant to each angel;

-Sunna

Dont have YSG, have astra m0w1

-Aria

Dont want/have velina/remielle, have yuzu m0w1

-Nangong

Have miyabi, have little other relevant anomoly characters (only non built piper & grace

What i want;

I had interest in velina & remielle but the way theyre marketed/placed in gameplay (yknow what i mean) has put me off, and i absolutely adored the angels in the story

Im grabbing norma for my silly next patch, and am slowly going through gaining pulls from 3.0. I'd like aria specifically to be as viable as possible as long as possible since i'll be able to brute force nangong with miyabi anyway, and see little need for sunna (despite how much daze she does)

So, after a good 7 walls of text, my ultimate question is how should i pull? i love all of the daughters equally but realise that some will have far greater input on my account, please let me know for mindscape/engine priority etc

Really wanna pull angels in 3.1-3.4 so dont wanna spread my pulls too thin, I like norma but how much of a difference will she be to lycoan?

Hii! Arias one of my absolute favourites from season 2, along with the other angels but my pulls are a bit tight after silly, what's the best way to invest in a team for her?

Anomaly wise I have yuzuha m0w1 & for stunners I remember lycoan was good,

Im definitely thinking about nangong since I've got a m1w1 miyabi in need of a partner but im really not sure about sunna, since I have astra m0w1 and zhao at a decent amount of HP, ofc convince me though :)

For context I was a returning player so to compete i had to summon on some reruns to compete well, and help some characters in my account (Lucia, orphie etc) also since Billy is my favourite I went all in on him

My m1w1 miyabi doesn't feel great to play on yuzuice anymore so I thought I'd invest in my favourite group from season 2

Just wondering what levels of importance are, aria & nangong are my goals but levels of importance for mindscapes, engines & sunna would be appreciated :D

For reference my supports are yuzu, astra both w1 & zhao with around 22k ish HP & i have lycoan who (i think) works decently well with aria :)

Hi hii! I play witj a mix of a 4 stack & solo queue (we're in different time zones so sometimes I can't get to em) but adore playing cell

In A4 currently and have been bouncing between a3 for a few weeks now but always come back down

Any tips from fellow cell players?

Usually struggle (ofc):

-with early game (should I suicell before people get cards for the player drain, what npc farm should I be focusing on etc)

-with how to engage team fights (feel like I'm just a big ult target when I do show up)

-when to ult (preperfect- to endgame i dont wanna waste it etc)

-and just general tips, hmu if you have advice 🫶🫶
