the ones who watched our team in 23/24 know that we won UCL and league because of how good our defense was individually, we all saw courtois saving atleast 3 clear goals every game, we all saw our CBs having the best seasons of their careers and most importantly we saw the Magic of Toni kroos & Luca Modric who kept the technical limitations of Tchouameni & Fede hidden. For the past 2 seasons, our defense has fallen off & every player in our back line is injury prone yet we didn’t properly replaced any one of them, and most importantly we did not replace Kroos who was clearly the most important player in our CL winning team. We have Fede playing the CM position after kroos - just compare the two players. Fede does not have a single quality that kroos possessed on the ball. Once again, perez pulled the same mistake as his first tenure by not replacing kroos just the way he did not replace makelele. And our fanbase has found a scapegoat in Mbappe (and now Camavinga) but its the fault of the board for having a horrible squad planning.
