Built my pc back in 2021/2, and stopped following computers in general after.

Need advice on wether or not I should stay on AM4 or switch to AM5, I want to upgrade my gpu to a 5080 soon. I know my current CPU is a bottleneck regardless, so I wanted to see what you guys thought.

Current spec list;

Aorus b550 elite

Ryzen 5 5600x

RTX 3080

Corsair Vengeance DDR4 3600mhz, 32gb (this can be upgraded to 64 if I can find a replacement stick for my dead one, as i've got an extra one laying around)

850 w corsair psu

I'm unsure if I should just stick it out and stay on AM4, the price of DDR5 ram right now is really offputting. The prices of the mobos and am5 cpus are okay with me.

hello guys, I'm currently lucky enough to have my parents agree to let me travel somewhere new myself, and I wanted to ask you guys how accessible Oregon is to a foreigner

i've never been to the US, or north / south America, and I'm 20.

- I wanted to ask you how easy it is to get around the state, and how relatively safe it is? we don't have any crime where I live, so I'd like to know what I should look out for and such.

- What are the best places to see? I wanted to visit the coast, and Eugene, but I'm not sure where else to go. I want to see nature as we don't really have any.

-Do any of you know if it'd be possible to rent a car there, I understand for hertz and such it'll be 21+, but is it possible to rent with a local company, given that I've been driving for 3 years already?

I'm sure you guys get these questions all the time, my apologies but I just wanted some more clarification, as I don't see much on international visitors
