It took 6 years to get him in. Grey, was a cat in ky neighborhood that was showing up in my backyard since we move, we thought it was an old lady, by what my neighbors told us, but no, he is a boy around 10ys. He used to dissappear for months and come back all full of blood but last year we build a shelter for him and he has stay there since. But this summer after the passing of my boy, his biggest terror ( funny because my boy was such a pretty boy that looked like he would not harm a fly), we were able to bring him in after taking him to the vet and making sure he was clear to get him close to my other boy. My other boy is a literal baby he doesn't care about him and is teaching him Grey to be a indoor cat. I love to see Grey change, his fur is getting better and also he is helping my boy who was not good after the passing od his brother ( they were brothers from the same litter). And yes he is chuncky, he got a little happy, 16lb happy, vet said it is not too much concern but gave us a weight goal, but he is a big boy with no tail. Also his nickname is Moto Moto Terremoto (earthquake in spanish).😂

My Stapelia Gigantea is going crazy with the flowers, it has so so many flowers , and mkre too com, and so many flies, smells horrible, but at least my neighbors kids and my friends kids think it's cool 😂

I question myself and why i have it, but I do think it's cool too, even though I cannot get that close, I was ok when it was just one flower or two, but I suffer while taking this pictures

I just got my "last" purchase of the year, my obovata, imperialis, imperialis alba and serpent and i just love them. I was just too excited to add more big flower hoyas to my collection.... as I write this i remember I order another big flower the other thag 😂 someone stop me.

I got this Hoya Lacunosa Silver from HD a while back, I already have another older one also from and because of tradition I almost killed it 😂 but its doing ok. But it growing the cutest tiniest little leaves. I really wish it will stay like that. They are a quarter the size of the old leaves. The size plush how silvery and light stress it is it makes it so cute.

My clearance stapelia gigantea has finally bloom. Last year I purchased one of wishlist plants for $60 clearance price, I wonder why was it clearance and it had dry root l rot. I repot it i wasn't sure i would have gotten anything this year but this beauty surprise me and put a bunch of flower buds and the first has open. Of course the fly are already all over it.

I still did, 2 and my first harvest was a good onw, i almost lost one.

This is like the 4th time I say I will stop buying planta and here I'm with 3 new ones. I was a little hesitant since I hadn't order from Etsy in over 2 years and i never try two of the 3 hiyas before. Hoya Aceh Gunung Kapi and Hoya Aceh Punkin are new type of hiyas for me ( anyone any experience with them? I have been doing g research but first hand experience will be nice) and Hoya Caudata Sparkling Snow ( I have a Caudata Sumatra and its one of my favorites).

I broke my Sarawak perfect leaf, this hurts more than what I thought it would. 🥲

I got this little one in April as tissue culture. The first leaf was questionable, no variation, but then saw the leaf was full of tiny splash. My new leaf id just how I want it. I got this monstera because I like the type of variation ir has.

His name is Roro, I will show him off every opportunity I get, last picture is of his brother... he is cute, but he not as bright 😂

I went to one of my favorite nurseries, well is a chain the best close thanks to data centers, this nursery in specific doesn't have a great variety of hoyas but today I was able to find a Hoya linearis, H. Sunrise and H. Sigilliatis splash. I had wanted a sunrise for a while and for onw reason or another I never got it the Sigilliatis is a replacement for the one I almost killed. The linearis i didn't really care but it was $12 so I was I may as well 😂 they were all $12, for some reason this specific nursery has their plants at a higher price, their other one that close was bigger and this would have been at $5.99 but o well, thanks Data Centers for ruining my favorite place.

My two bearded iris, yellow and dark purple, were rotting and i had to dug them iut to treat it., I lost half my my yellow one 🥲

I finally prop my regular H. Polyneura after potting my props with my mother plants of my Jasminka and my albo to make fuller bigger pots and I notice I had 3 peduncles forming🥲... but it's alright... I think.... I wanted a fuller pot , its not like that one is my slowest growing Polyneura right behind my silver 😢, I was going to prop it when I prop my Jasminka but I kept saying next week, cursed you procrastination.... sorry I needed to be a little dramatic.

I got a few variagated Alocasias las month. 5/19 and 5/26. Out of them all my favorites are 1-Alocasia dragon scale Albo. Its the biggest has put out 2 leaves and has such a beautiful variegation (first 2 pictures)

2- Alocasia Ninja Albo, did not roots when it comw in, that is why the older leaves are curled up. The one that was coming out when I got it looks fine and the. New leaf that just come up it's just beautiful.

3- Alocasia Silver dragon Aurea, has put out 1 leaf and its cute, the variation is not as visible yet but it's there

I was not sure about getting them as tissue culture since a lot of people complained about the variation. As for know thwy are growing fast and all the leaves have been consistent, if anything the 3 monsteras I got as tissue culture are reverting. My otber 3 Alocasias are not looking as good as this ones but they are good, focusing in roots since none of them had any roots when I got them.

My bella is doing what it wants, a branch reverted, I'm letting it grow more so I can prop it and that way I have a regular bella 😂 and then another branch is doing this weird variegation, and yes there are a bunch peduncles but they ten to fall of without doing a thing.

I just noticed my hoya clemensorium 'Army ' has this burn almost like area in one leaf and another forming one, I hadn't had anything like this so not sure it it is fungal infection? I know it cannot be a burn since it been under the same growlight, it's not an i fence one. I did notice a small spot that looks similar to mildew, very small spot in the most affected area. Does anyone know what it could be, what can it cause it. For now I spray it with fungicide juat in case but I would not like to lose this plant.

I had the surprise that I have order something different than what I thought, happy mistake. I thought i order some Bambino pink variegated and instead I order a pink Polly, the biggest tissue culture i have gotten 😅 I did place this order at 1am after sitting on it for 3 days. I did order a black velvet pink variegated and a internals black magic ( does anyone one has this onw? I love dark color plants and this was supper cheap as tissue culture)

My local plant shop had a shipment before mother's day and the owner was "come and we can get excited together while we see what i order" and I did and oh boy she order two of my wish list hoyas, hoya gunung gading and hoya undulata. As we know undulata is not cheap (at least i did not find onw that wasn'tan inport), I walk away that day because I wanted both but couldn't justify getting both and couldn't decide which to get. today, I finally went back and both were still there and I got hoya gunung gading, i really wanted the undulata but $90 was still a lot, for a 3 leave 3 node hoya, not sure if it will be justifiable. I'm thinking if it's there in a few weeks I will get it as my early birthday present. I'm still happy about tbe one i got, I already have a spot for it. I did had to sell some cuttings of my hoya polyneura Jasminka , but it was worth it.

So there is a few hoyas that have been putting random bigger leaves, my H. paulshirleyi, and my H. Minahassae. The first I got it in a local plant shop at the end of last year and it was already big, and had put up regular size leaves but the last two have been almost doubled the size, this one gets nice light stress( it had it when i bought it) but since I put it in a light less intense and has lost the light stess. The second I had it almost a year ago in a plant trade, it had all the cute smaller leaves, bigger than a Mathilde but smaller than my carnosas, I was told it was a slow grower and yeah for a bit it put a runner, I gave a trellis and started to put this giant leaves, compare to the old leaves more than doubled , same light as my other hoyas.

So my question is whay does it grow so different, the second even feels different, the smaller leaves are more succulent while the big ones are not as thick.
