I personally think Steel should be super effective against Dragon because the dragon always gets slain by a sword in stereotypical fairy tales. Maybe to balance this, Fairy could be resistant to Dragon instead of immune and neutral to Steel, and then Steel could drop a resistance? Fighting could be super effective against Bug because of the whole bug-squishing dynamic. Bug could be super effective on Fairy because nobody uses Bug types. Fairy could be super effective against Fairy, like how Dragon is super effective against Dragon. And Ice should definitely resist Water.

Who even started the “Boyfriend’s real name is actually Keith” thing and how did it become so popular?

Remember when like 75% of FNF fans thought BF‘s name was Keith in 2021-2023ish? It became such a popular headcanon that people actually started to believe it and the devs had to come out and confirm it wasn’t true…

Reminder: Being nonsharing isn’t an excuse to hurt others.

Being so attached to a fictional character that you develop genuine insecurity over the possibility that they don’t love you back AND THEN (red circle and arrows pointing to the words “and then”) trying to cope with said insecurity by shaming others who simply feel the same is crazy. Never thought I’d find a Zim one of these. Talk about main character syndrome😭😭

TL;DR — Being nonsharing isn’t bad, but acting upon your jealousy and invalidating your doubles to make yourself feel better is!

HOT TAKE: Scar and Kovu don’t actually look that much alike.

DIFFERENCES:

  1. Color. Scar’s pelt is a warm reddish-brown. Kovu’s pelt is a slightly deeper brown that looks kind of purple at times. Scar’s secondary pelt (muzzle, belly, paws) is lighter and red toned like his pelt, while Kovu’s has more of an olive tone, unlike his primary fur tone. Some may say it’s because the movies have different colors, and that might be a factor, but the differences are still there. Kovu’s colors look the most similar to Scar’s when Zira brings him back to the Outlands before “My Lullaby.”

  2. Mane. Scar’s mane is black and naturally slicked back. Kovu’s mane is dark brown and swoops forward at the top, which is the most prominent difference between the two.

  3. Body shape. Scar is thin and lanky, while Kovu is much bulkier despite having been raised in the Outlands.

  4. Eyes. Scar’s eyes are lime green, Kovu’s are more emerald green.

  5. Chin. Scar has a bushy, narrow chin. Kovu’s chin is more square and doesn’t have the extra fluff that Scar’s has.

SIMILARITIES:

They both have a lot of stereotypical “Outlander” features: A curved nose, elbow tufts, and smaller pupils. Oh, and the scar, of course.

Tips for drawing in the Invader Zim/Jhonen Vasquez artstyle?

I’d say I’m pretty mediocre when it comes to art in general, but for some reason, I just can’t get the IZ artstyle down. I like my drawings of fictional characters to look as similar as possible to their source material and Jhonen’s style is SO hard to replicate😭any tips from artists in this community?

Do you have any f/o’s that are considered “niche” despite coming from a popular source? Who are they?

Honorable mention to Bullet Bill’s wife here in the attached image as an example. Bullet Bill is from the Mario franchise, and everyone knows about Mario, right?

Simba looks so much better and more like his movie self when he snaps off-model in frames like this

I know they made the models all clunky in TLG to be easier to animate + appeal to kids but they could have at least made the adult lions more accurate to their movie selves, especially Simba because he’s who everyone is the most familiar with. Rob Lowe Marshmallow Simba has ALWAYS bugged me and will continue to do so😭

Nala, on the other hand, is screwed no matter what because they gave her the wrong colors. She has her jungle colors from the scene where she finds Simba in the first movie instead of her normal daylight colors as seen during the ending.

I don’t know how to keep eating.

I’m taking Wellbutrin/Bupropion, which is an antidepressant that can suppress appetite and cause weight loss as side effects. Unfortunately, I’m suffering from both.

I don’t have an eating disorder. I want to gain weight, I want to eat, but I just can’t—I don’t get hungry as often as I should. And if I’m not hungry, I simply don’t eat.

My BMI is 16.6 and dropping. How do I force myself to eat, and what do I eat to gain weight?

Upcoming amusement park trip. I think I’m screwed.

So, I’m a kid, right? High school. Can’t make my own travel decisions yet.

I’m like 99% sure I have Ehlers Danlos, my parents won’t let me get tested. Stretchy skin, muscle weakness, easy bruising, hyper mobility in my hands and feet. Also on the autism spectrum, not sure if that plays part in my concerns about this topic. My family is going to an amusement park this week. I‘ve been doing research and apparently people on the EDS spectrum shouldn’t ride rollercoasters. I’m terrified of breaking my neck or something because my posture is pretty bad (I’ve been working on it).

I’ve been to an amusement park three times in my life. I have chronic anxiety and am TERRIFIED of rollercoasters, but I’ve never actually blacked out, vomited, or had any side effects from coasters other than feeling tired the next day from all the walking. I’m allowed to take my best friend with me, which will definitely help with my coaster anxiety, but not my health anxiety. I can’t just refuse to go. I can’t leave my buddy on their own and ruin their day.

Fellow individuals with this condition, what do you think? Am I screwed? What should I do?

If you were a parent in the Pokemon world and decided YOU would be the one to give your child their first Pokemon, which Pokemon would you entrust them with and why?

Not all trainers start out with the fire, grass, or water type starter Pokemon of their region! Many receive their first Pokemon from a family member. A good example of this is Brock, whose father gifted him his Onix/Steelix on his 10th birthday. Another prominent example is Bonnie and her Dedenne that was caught by her older brother Clemont. There’s also Mallow, who views her Bounsweet/Steenee/Tsareena like a little sister because her mother caught it for her.

If you were a parent in the Pokemon world and decided that you wanted to be the one to give your child their first Pokemon before they set off on their own, which Pokemon would you trust to keep them safe and happy?

BONUS: Which region would you want to settle down and live in long-term?

Ishara, the son of Scar and Sarabi (info about him in description)

When Scar first said that he needed an heir to take his place, Zira volunteered with no hesitation. However, her son (Nuka) was born too sickly and weak for Scar’s liking. He demanded a successor that was actually worthy. Sarabi willingly volunteered before Scar could defile any other lionesses, and she also gave birth to a son—he was perfect. Scar was greatly pleased and deemed the new cub his heir, much to the dismay of Zira. Sarabi named her second son Ishara, meaning “sign,” and she was determined to keep Scar from infecting his heart with the same wickedness inside his own. She obviously didn’t know that Scar had killed Mufasa and presumably Simba at the time, but as his reign progressed and the Pridelands declined, his true colors were starting to show.

Share your OCs in this comment section!

Since OC (original character) content isn’t really acknowledged in this sub, I would like to provide an outlet here. Share information about your OCs in this comment section! Irkensona, human self-insert, oc x canon, just a random character(s) you made up? Wonderful, I’d love to hear about them. Feel free to infodump to your heart’s content regardless of how “cringe” you think it is.
