I got a potted strawberry plant last year, split it into three and put it in my raised bed. I didn’t do anything to it before winter came. This summer they have doubled in size!! Opie and I go out every morning and pick some. We also eat a couple while picking as a reward of course!

Our 1 year old Male Poodle/Pitbull mix was diagnosed with Addisons Disease on 6/13. He was acting strange for a few days, then stopped eating and drinking. We brought him to our vet and they said it was a belly ache. We didn’t believe that and we brought him to the emergency vet. They did bloodwork, diagnosed him and kept him for two nights. He came home on 20mg of prednisone, Saturday we cut it in half like we were told to. I just want my dog back.. He is eating, drinking, wanting love and affection. But he’s so off still. Doesn’t want to play with his toys, follows me around constantly. Just not “himself”. I’m wondering if this is the new norm. What are other people’s experiences the weeks following being diagnosed? We have an appointment next Thursday with a new vet. They wanted us to get more bloodwork down 14 days after we took him home. But it’s going to be more like 17 days (first appointment I could get). Wondering if we should maybe go back to the emergency vet and get more bloodwork done? Sorry I’m all over the place. I appreciate any help!
