Just wondering before I post. I’m in Athens.

I’ve never been a judge in any sort of food-based contest, but think it would be great. Aside from creating my own “best Apple, peach, blueberry, cheesecake contest” does anyone need someone to sample an assortment tasty pies/treats and rate them? It’s a bucket list thing for me.

Anyone use creeping thyme to control weeds? Is there a best time to plant? What about getting it? Should I go seeds or sprouts from Amazon, or is there a nursery in the area where I can get some?

So, we pay a ton of property tax on our home, and I’m trying to find ways of reducing that. You always hear about politicians who manage to not pay any property tax and I’m wondering how they do it. I assume it’s something along the lines of, “LLC owns the home, rents it to a non-profit at a loss, then reports the loss and is somehow able to write off the loss so no property tax.” Or something funky like that.
Just looking for ideas on how to do it. I know I’ll have to use a tax/property attorney to draw up paperwork, I just need to figure out how to structure it.
Any ideas?

3/4 inch or larger. Can also be irrigation line. Sure, I can Amazon it or get it from an electrical or plumbing supply company, but does anyone have a bunch of flexible conduit or irrigation line sitting around that they’d want to sell? I’d rather help out someone local clear out some junk.

Am I best off getting those 50lb bags from Walmart for around $10, or is there a better place in town to get it? I don’t need a ton of it, only a couple hundred pounds.

I need wood chips and would love to find someone who has a load of them dump them for me to use. Eastside off of Barnett Shoals.
