Im considering applying to wake this fall (probably ED considering my stats) im a little worried about competition for opportunities after I get in.
Has anyone here ever had issues getting into classes or getting access to other resources on campus?

Has anyone had issues with l account sharing?

Me and my friends wanna split an account but we don’t live very close to one another so I’m worried about enforcement of the rule about not sharing outside of a singular household. Has anyone seen this being enforced?

How do I stop feeling this way?

I have this friend who I love and adore, she’s one of the most creative and expressive people I know im her biggest fan. But that’s what it feels like, I’m a fan.

Earlier this year we were really close and hung out all the time with this group. We started having issues with one of the guys in the group so it disbanded. We stopped hanging out after that. I haven’t seen her outside of school since then. I’ve tried pushing her, suggesting hang outs and saying we should do things telling her I miss her. she says she’s busy and then I’ll see her posting with other people that I also know and am friends with. It’s upsetting that I feel like I’m not being thought of or included by a person I considered to be one of my closest friends and who had told me I was one of hers aswell. Ive asked if it was about the guy and she said it’s not.

I finally sent her a paragraph a few days ago, she immediately apologized and said that she had been thinking about me and that she actually just so happened to have an event she wanted to invite me to but had changed her mind about asking because she “didn’t think it was my scene”. Which kind of felt like a dig saying I wasn’t cool enough.

Even though she’s said that she has actually been thinking about me and does miss me and apologized and invited me to something I can’t help but feeling like an afterthought. i feel pathetic like I’ve been begging for attention and after being turned down and turned down over and over I had to literally tell her to invite me to things. I feel controlling, like she might interpret it me being jealous she has other friends which isn’t it at all. We used to meet up ever Monday, that stopped because of the friend group drama. She felt our stopped inviting me to things and was constantly out with other people and I would see them post of social media and be sad. I missed my friend, it felt like I had become a connivence option rather than someone close to her. To the point where even after she invited me to this it felt like a pity invite because it was plans she already had. I felt like a was intruding and not actually wanted even when she swore I was. I feel pathetic and (redundant I know) foolish, and embarrassed

how do I stop feeling this way so I can go back to having my friend again?

I got my friend a job and I regret jt

this is eating at me. I work at this restaurant and I’ve been making great money the place it’s nuts but the pay makes it worth it. Anyhow my friend (she’s not even really a close friend more like an acquaintance) just went through a nasty breakup and I felt really bad. She was asking if I could help her get a job at the place I work since it’s super close to where she lives ,so, Idid. I was going on vacation for a week so we needed people to cover anyways. I’m back from my trip now though and she’s taking a TON of shifts. Selfishly I’m worried. because now with more people being hired I’ll get less shifts and be making less money (it’s a small restaurant so there’s really only ever 3 people working per shift). I only have so many months to make as much money as I can before school starts up again and I’m beginning to regret ever helping her. I feel awful for admitting that but I kind wish I had just kept my mouth shut.

idk what to do about this feeling I feel like this is just something that I have to get over and note to not do again.
