So I turned my Xbox off a few hours ago and went out for a bit. I come back and it won't turn on and the power cable at the back when plugging it in makes a crackling noise. Am I cooked?

The power supply and case are quite shitty own brand stuff from when I bought the pc.
In Europe and have a budget of 500
