260+ => 206LB

Just good ole caloric deficit and weight training. No crash diets, no fads.

Daily intake:
Non training days: 1600-1800
Training days: 1800-2000
1.5-2 hours in the gym.

Average metabolic rate: 2000-2500+ during work days // 2000 non work days // 3100-3500 training days + work days.

First year didn’t do any cardio, just did lean muscle mass. Started cardio this year, I’m determined to get below 200 by end of year.

Always been a big guy. My last relationship, my bf of 5 years found someone new, leaving me split on my heart. I didn’t want to be wallowing in pity and sulking in bed, so I decided to choose me. 💪

[46] A few years in the making - Project: Me.

First photo was in 2018 weighting in at 260+lbs. New photo is 206lbs. Around June of 2025 I was weighing in close to 255 (reference is me standing in front of the house with my cap and sweater)

I’ve always been a big guy. All my life. After my first toxic relationship 13 years, I went into a workout plan and lost my weight, then got into another relationship that made me gain my weight again where he ended up cheating on me after 5 years (he found someone new).

I was soo devastated bc I was in love and we actually had something good until the last few months he just grew tired of me I guess. So I looked to the gym as my therapy and made a choice:

A) either stay in bed and sulk
B) Do something for yourself.

My WO plan?

  1. Good ole caloric deficit
  2. Weight training
  3. Discipline
  4. Self healing

I’m now investing into a personal trainer as he believes I can lose the final areas of flab around my body and belly and get me below 200 by December while building muscle. I want the whole package, now that I’ve noticed the difference!! It didn’t occur to me about my progress until people at work started coming to me saying “dude you got skinnier!” And also saying “DUDE YOUR ARMS” I’m hungry for it (pun intended).

So i'm fairly new, and acquired a new Legion 7i with banger specs from a raffle - but I digress. I bought God of War from Epic Games and it runs fine. I then also bought Alan Wake Remastered where the game doesn't even start (not even crash errors).

To summarize my message to their support team (after battling their AI system) I gave them all my details, screenshots, sys specs and asked them to please help me get this game running first, or provide me a refund if support is unsucessful. 15 min later, they gave me a refund stating they don't provide support for the devices the app runs on. WTH?

So I found this on Steam. Does anybody know if this is the remastered or just the original game? I"m sure I"ll still enjoy the original game as well as Control (I haven't played any of these)..

Anyway, this has to be one of the most lousiest platform I've ever experienced.

Customizing the keyboard rgb lights

Hi so I recently acquired a 7i RTX 5070 laptop in a raffle and I love it!

I’m playing with the rgb keyboard through Lenovos app but it’s pretty limited to how I want to theme it. Are there any 3rd party apps that will work with this keyboard?

Won this laptop in a raffle. Opinions and thoughts?

Went to a tech convention and won this laptop. I’ve been a MacBook Pro guy and it’s been many many moons since I built a PC.

What are your thoughts and opinions, or suggestions bc I just know bare level windows 11. I like the RAM, but unfamiliar wit i9ultra and a RTX 5070. I am familiar tho with i7, i5 and i3, so I’m assuming i9 ultra is superior.

I understand it’s a gaming laptop? And it’s funny bc I wanted to get back into gaming and get a console.

Thanks!
