Any good patreon/ sensei?

Hello friends, I realized that the painting process in Warhammer 40k is the major part of the fun (at least for me) and I feel some kind of motivation to actually getting better. However I saw a ton of how to's and tutorial videos but it's kinda chaotic and obviously different people have different opinions and techniques. So I'm searching for a channel, a patreon or a sensei. I'm even willing to spend some money if it's worth it. My goal is not to win the golden demon, for now I would just like to see progress and have people stop at my table to have a second look at my miniatures.

I'm excited for your recommendations!

Weird Boy - any advice?

I started painting two weeks ago and yesterday I challenged the weird boy. I'm still not sure if I like the dirtyness. What do you guys think?

After 3 hours I finished my first Miniature ever. I'm actually kind of proud of myself.

https://www.csl-computer.com/pc-csl-sprint-5724-ryzen-7.html

Danke vorab!

In one Month I can finally play Warhammer for the first time

I'm 30 years old and always loved strategy games. Unfortunately I never had the money for a decent computer, so my last total war, was medieval 2 on our old family computer. But now I finally bought a decent computer and I will get it at the end of July. I took the chance of the steam summer sale and bought all 3 Warhammer games + chaos dwarfs and forest elves dlc. Since the first Warhammer was released, I dreamed about playing this amazing game and doing a deep dive in this lore. Now I feel like a child before Christmas, I'm so excited! Since last Sunday I've been watching trailers, let's plays etc.

So my question: any advice? To the game or to the lore in general? Which class should I take to start? Any beginners mistakes I should avoid? Any book I should read? Anything you would recommend to me in general?

Thanks a lot!
