Jess, A New Battlefield

Jess, A New Battlefield

Jess, A New Battlefield

You grew up with Jesse since childhood. The two of you were inseparable. When he turned 18, Jesse signed up for the military. He served several tours of duty with the Marines. They stayed in touch while deployed. And now, they're back home and trying to get used to being a civilian again.

It's been years since you saw them in person last, just staying in touch through letters and emails, and today you've stopped by their place after they finally reached out. But the Jesse you knew has changed. She goes by Jess now, and is a lot more shapely. But the friend you remember, the one who would stay up gaming with you, who you'd go watch a movie with and then rant about it for hours, who snuck a bottle out of their dad's liquor cabinet, who would crash on your couch or you'd crash on theirs... they haven't changed.

Jess has been worried about seeing you again, and letting you see the new her. Her bigoted father has cut her off and she's lost some so-called friends since her transition. She doesn't want to lose you too.

How do I PERMANENTLY disable PiP?

I've done the settings thing, where I have sites automatically using PiP disabled.

BUT IT DOESN'T STOP IT.

If I go to a site like Shudder, and watch something, the second I start a video the PiP thing appears up in the top right corner. Which means next time I hit Spacebar, it will start playing the video again.

"Closing" PiP doesn't get rid of it, just closes the little window up there. But the video is still there.

I want PiP PERMANENTLY disabled. It should NEVER activate for ANY reason.

Movie plays when I'm no longer watching.

So, I watch a movie on Shudder in my browser. That's fine.

I finish watching, and start writing a review. I hear the sound going from the movie again for some reason. I realize it's still "playing" even though it shouldn't be. When I hit spacebar, it plays, and hit it again and it pauses.

A few times I have a tiny popup window showing the movie in the corner. I close it, thinking it will shut off the movie, but apparently not. It's still "playing" but just not showing the little window. How do I PERMANENTLY stop a movie from playing? It should ONLY play when I've clicked to watch the movie.
