gimme the grossest recs ever! I’m a big fan of The Human Centipede 2, Possession, Terrifier, and Pinocchio 964.
if you have anything in the same realm as that please don’t hesitate to recommend! huge fan of splatterpunk and my next watch will be Teeth!
thanks :)
Anyone seen any good movies lately? Like soemthing that actually scares ya ? I just got shudder again after a couple years hoping someone can recommend something !
reddit.comTales from the crypt episodes won't play
I don't know what's going on with it today But, almost all the episodes say 0:00 and content isn't available. Am I the only one?

The Burning!
It’s beginning to feel a lot like Summer, so I decided to do a viewing of The Burning! Such a classic film with amazing special effects by the master, Tom Savini.
Can anyone tell me where the reviews went? I cannot see them when streaming on tv but they used to show up when watching on my laptop. Can't find them now? Thanks.
Exactly what the title says. Cannot find the user reviews for movies, etc. anymore.
Getting back into horror. Recs?
I have shudder now woohoo!
Some stuff I like:
-Most Haneke films
-Argento
-The Descent (I love films that feel claustrophobic or isolated)
-Almost all Australian horror (wake in fright, wolf creek, talk to me, etc)
-Found footage (REC, noroi the curse, gonjiam haunted asylum). I remember seeing Blair Witch as a kid but it didn’t click with me
-CRONENBERG!!!
-technothrillers à la demonlover, red rooms
-kiyoshi kurosawa
I just saw Martyrs today and it was…… a lot. I wouldn’t rewatch it but I keep finding more things mentally to appreciate about it. It wasn’t as hard to watch as some things I’ve seen (do NOT watch 964 Pinocchio if you can’t handle vomit lmao)
I really do not care for slashers, generic haunted house stuff, comedies (unless it’s on the really dry side) or gore for the sake of gore
Thanks!!!
Anyone think analog horror in movies is a goldmine
Analog horror has so much potential in a movie I feel like horror movies now a days aren’t even scary there just gorey analog horror is true horror
If someone made a Mandela catalogue movie it would be perfect it actually traps true horror instead of just gore and shock value
Its such a high potential genre (if u don’t know what analog horror is look up mandela catalogue or Godzilla analog horror there perfect for starters)
Any good horror recommendations on AMC +?
My fiancé and I love horror movies and we’ve watched some really good movies on shudder. Any recommendations?
Bored and not sure what to watch? Here are the top 5 movies on Shudder
thehorrorlounge.comThe Amusement Park…
Wowza’s… just watched this one on Shudder and it made me cry. I wouldn’t say it’s a horror movie, but if you want to watch something dramatic that is moving and will leave you thinking: this is it. I’m definitely going to look into local volunteering opportunities to help out the elderly.
This one also really made me feel like I very much do not want to live to old-age, as sad as that is. But maybe if there are positive changes made, I would reconsider. But those changes need to start soon, with us: those who are still young. This movie was originally released in 1975 and then remastered in 2019. Nothing much has changed for the lives of the elderly in all the years that this film has existed.
In Search of Darkness 90 to 94
In the UK here. Has this one appeared on the Shudder app yet? Can't see it. I see it is on the Amazon version.
Tales From the Crypt
Hi folks. After they canceled Joe Bob, I basically only kept shutter because they added Tales from the Crypt the original series. But is it just me or does the sound seem compressed? I’ve watched it on my laptop on my phone on my headphones and on my TV with my Bose speakers. And it sounds tinny. Am I nuts?
I watched every movie on Shudder this week whose title starts with "Black" or a variant of "Blood." AMA?
And, yes, also "I'm the Mayor of Bimmi Gardens"

I didn't realise how stunningly beautiful she is in season 2 episode 6. I've always seen her in that superman series when growing up but seeing her in this wow!
Tales From the Crypt audio issues
If you’ve been watching TFtC you’ve probably noticed significant issues with the audio across all episodes. Dialogue is generally fine, but all sound effects and music seems to be double tracked with a half second offset so everything echos, with percussive sounds like strikes, drums, gun shots etc being the most obvious.
It’s annoyed me enough that i’ve emailed support to see if they can fix it, and i encourage everyone else to do the same, if enough people complain hopefully they’ll do something about it.
They’ll ask you what device and app version you’re experiencing it on (it seems to be everything, firefox, my android cable box, the ios app), what region you’re in and specific examples (episode, timestamp/description of the sound) so having that info available from the start should speed things up. support@shudder.com
