Were a bunch of movies just purged overnight??

Hi everyone. I just subscribed to Shudder this week and added a bunch of movies to My List. I was just on it last night and they were all there. I wake up this morning and so many of them are missing from my list! Even when I search their titles, nothing comes up now. Does anyone know if Shudder just removed a bunch of titles overnight??? Or is there anything I might be doing wrong, or perhaps a glitch??

The only titles I can remember right now that are now missing are:

- Sleepaway Camp

- Vesper

- Sea Fever

I never saw any warning on their pages when I added them that they'd be removed soon.

A Vinyl & Film Night!

I’ve been watching horror since I was 8, but as I got older, I definitely went deeper down the rabbit hole. I remember hearing stories about Faces of Death and Cannibal Holocaust—and the first time I finally watched Cannibal Holocaust, that music alone absolutely unhinged me.
After 26+ years of collecting physical media, I somehow never owned it…until the 88 Films 4K. I finally opened it today, just in time for Grindhouse Releasing’s pre-order announcement. Naturally, I immediately pre-ordered theirs too!
This 4K looks phenomenal. Now I can’t wait to see what Grindhouse did with their release!

Sleepaway Camp!

Got in the mood for a few Summer Horror Films, and Sleepaway Camp will be the first one. Nothing like a little summer camp horror to set the mood. Time to revisit this classic!

How many films do you watch a month to make Shudder worth it for yoi?

I pay £4.99/month currently, so for me i only have to watch one feature film and it's worth it as that is so much less than the price of going to the cinema. When I've rented indie films online they're usually that much per pop.

Yes, the audio and visual quality isn't as good, eventually I'll buy a new tv. And the film quality varies but there are some absolute gems on there, and I'm at home with my stuff (food, sofa) and not 1 hour+ from home. I can always watch a second film, basically free at that point.

How about you? How many films do you watch to make it worth it?

Movie finding help

As the title says, does anyone know which movie this scene is from?? I've had these screen shots on my phone for so long but I can't remember the movie name!

Edited to add* I do remember that the woman sleeping was hired to look after the old lady!

Second edit* Thank you horror sleuths! The movie is The Accursed (2022)

I don't understand the hate for Hellcat (2025)

My wife and I just got done watching Hellcat and we went online to see what others were saying about it and we were shocked to see how divisive this movie seems to be online. I understand some of the criticisms I've seen, but one thing I don't understand is how many people have said that it either gets worse as it goes or falls off in the last act.

From the beginning all the way to the end, it had both of us fully invested in what on earth was happening to and going to happen to the protagonist, and the visual storytelling in this was an amazing change of pace from the Netflix-ification of movies where everything is written/directed so you can be on your phone while you watch it in the background. The ending was definitely...unexpected, but it didn't ruin the movie, nor did it feel like it came completely out of nowhere.

TL;DR Had to make a post to just put some positive vibes around this movie into the world, and to spark discussion on why some people actually dislike this movie.

Can't wait to see what Brock Bodell does next!

Shudder, we love you, but... PLEASE stop making add the closed caption for every single movie or anytime we have to stop and restart. The other apps keep our requested setting for CC. PLEASE!

Thoughts on The Yeti?

It took me 3 tries to get through this movie. The first time I was tired, so that's on me. I thought it started off well, and I liked the time period and characters, but it was a slog. The gore is good and the creatures are well done, but it, to me could have been so much better than it was. I adore Creature Features, so if I didn't like it much, I doubt I'm the only one.

Shudder, we love you! But, please add a language description on the title screen iif a movie is in a foreign langauge. It is the most and really only frustrating thing about finding our movies to watch on Shudder

Help me remember the name of this movie I saw the ending of on Shudder!

It's a modern movie. At the end, a woman is in a house and she has a sigil or pentagram on the floor , a gray devil demon guy shows up, says something in a deep voice (I think?) and then takes her away to his realm. I saw the end of it on the live feature and wanna see the whole movie! Unfortunately, pentagrams on the floor and devils are too common for me to use google. I recall the creature design was really cool. Help!

Reggie Bannister was an underrated horror star and the heart of the Phantasm movies

Thought I’d share this tribute to Reggie. What’s everyone’s favorite Phantasm movie?

Be honest: what do you guys think of the Creepshow game based on Shudder’s series?

I personally feel like there was a lot to be desired. Only including two original stories left me feeling kind of disappointed.

Also the lack of the actual Creep as a character was disappointing too.

Though I did like the stories they actually included.
