I use my iCloud’s 2T for everything, equally split between my small business and my +families personal life. Also use AWS for backup via Arq, separate accounts for work and family.
Is that too little safety, normal, or overkill? Obviously I think it’s normal but want some consensus. Any local options?
Why is it that Jazz musicians seem to appear on other Jazz musicians’ records so much more than rock musicians do on other rock albums? Is there contractual differences between Jazz and rock labels? Do rock “groups” have tighter legal boundaries than Jazz? For example it seems “The Blues and The Abstract Truth” could be a Freddy Hubbard album just as easily. Seems jazz albums come from sessions that ebb and flow, while rock albums are from groups that break up. Are jazz musicians just different people or is there so little money in Jazz that lawyers don’t care?
