After facing some ORC waves and noticing how effective it is, and after getting ambushed by wolf spiders in unpleasant situations, it occured to me that it might be a viable tactic, at the cost of sacrificing a few inventory slots. But surely it can't be that simple?

I found and tried fighting one yesteday. It went well, actually. Until an orb weaver appeared in my ass and totally wrecked me. So next time I tried to draw it away first. It happened again. So third time I gave up, but then I met it again in a completely different place and started fighting on top of a large rock. And then an orb weaver came over the rocky horizon, from the direction we just came from and there were definitely no other spiders.

Hello there. I figured the audiophiles here might know a thing or two about audio files.

I tried cutting off the end, the crackle moves to the new end. I tried exporting it as a different format, it got exported too and cutting it in the new format has the same result. I checked other files from the same pack, only this one has it. I am getting mildly irritated at this point, and half-tempted to just add in a blank OGG file and silence it forever.

In fact, I have just done that because this is driving me insane, and now it started using some other sound. At least it is vaguely appropriate and has no crackle in the loop.
