Requesting: Classic SpongeBob ice cream bars.

Both my girlfriend and I have never tried the sponge bob ice cream bars, and it’s on our food bucket list (an odd one, I know). We’re in Boston for the weekend, and amongst much better boxes, we’re looking to check the sponge bob bars off the list.

Does anybody know where I can reliably get some? Preferably anywhere in Boston proper or north towards Somerville, but we’re willing to travel if they’re found reliably anywhere in the greater Boston area.

Comparing Fromsoft to BGS really showcases how much potential goodness we've been missing out on.

My two favorite game series are TES and Fromsofts Souls games. Both Skyrim and DS1 released in 2011. Both companies have given us a couple of multiplayer spinoff games, but as far as single player games go (the main focus that both companies are known for), from 2011 on, BGS has given us Skyrim, FO4, and Starfield, they also reskinned Oblivion, but thats not a new game. In that same amount of time, Fromsoft has put out DS1, DS2, DS3, Bloodborne, Sekiro, Armored Core 5 and 6, Elden Ring, and ANOTHER game coming out this year.

It's not like these were small rushed games. Most of them have DLCs some of which are MASSIVE. They all have unique and fantastic soundtracks, there are new mechanics in each IP. Gameplay is completely different between the Soulslikes and the Armored Core games, and yet the studio stays tight and focused and puts out really high quality content in a timely manner. BGS garnered an insane amount of goodwill from the success of TES 3-5 and FO3 and NV. A lot of the goodwill has dried up with how little of what we've gotten since has aligned with what we actually wanted from the studio.

Its hard to be sympathetic towards BGS when they just haven't produced a fraction of the quality or quantity that I would have hoped for in the last decade and a half. I remember thinking in as sophomore in highschool when i was 500 hours into Skyrim, "damn, I probably won't be able to play another Elder Scrolls title until I'm nearly through college." How naive I was.. TES6 is the game I've been most eagerly anticipating for over half of my life now. I don't play games as much as I used to, yet I still think about this game at least once a month.

I'm not the only person who feels this way, and I think thats why we're seeing some of these dramatic moves from microsoft. I'm not saying laying off devs is the right way to go, or the fair way. But as far as I'm concerned any drastic shake up from a company that hasn't made use of the ample opportunity and good will they used to have, is probably a good idea, even if a few eggs break in the shake.

Alcohol Consumption after 6 months?

I had acute pancreatitis 6 months ago and the doctors were unable to determine the cause. It absolute wrecked me for about a week though and was a pretty slow recovery afterwards. I’m a 30yo male and I only drank maybe once or twice per month prior to the incident, and no drinking within a week of the attack. I’m relatively healthy, but have a very healthy diet since recovering. I had a number of scans checking for gallstones, when in the hospital, and my gallbladder bile doesn’t seem to be particularly gritty or viscous. That being said I have a surgery consultation next month to have it removed because the gastrointestinologist said that’s the safest move when the cause is uncertain.

I just sent a message to my dock asking his thoughts about having a few beers at my former college roommates bachelor party this weekend, but I figured I’d check here to see if anybody has been in a similar situation to me and been able to safely return to the occasional drink or two every once in a while. I really don’t mind not drinking at all outside of special occasions, but it would be nice to sip some champagne at a wedding, a couple beers at a party, or a glass of wine on a nice date night.

I saw another post somebody put in this sub with a similar line of inquiry, but the poster had been hospitalized for alcohol caused pancreatitis, so the verdict was essentially all saying he should never touch another drop again, just wanted to see if I’m in that same boat or not. Thanks for any advice!
