I’m a single mom with a 10 year old daughter. Me and her dad split 50/50 custody. Over the past few months she’s become very attached to her dad. I love the fact that she has such a great dad but unfortunately she wants to be with him now full time. It absolutely kills me. He’s more strict than me and he has a fiancé so I can see she is probably more comfortable with the stability.. but it hurts. I am so grateful I have good co parents but this is one of the hardest things I’ve done.
We’ve decided I’ll pick her up from school Monday , Wednesday and Friday from school every other week and she’ll stay with me every other weekend but she’s become so quiet with me. It hurrrts
