Large Top Loader Binder - Safe for cards?

We are starting a project to make a card Pokedex. We got two 640 slot, 4x4, top loader binders. We are testing filling them and it's making us nervous on how much strain/pressure the cards might be under. Has anyone used binders like these and can share their experience? Is this something we should be concerned about?

In particular, we are concerned about the cards near the spine which get pulled to the left , and then when it is all closed, how much pressure it is putting on the cards to keep the binder closed. I will say, we don't have to force it to zip, but there is a compression effect on the cards.

I've included pictures on what it looks like when closed, open, and close ups of the spine and the edge.

Any feedback is appreciated! Thank you!

Looking for 3:25 marathon training advice

I'm waffling over how I want to build a 20 week training plan for a 3:25 marathon. I ran 3:27 last fall and took time off, so I have some rebuilding I need to do. I've looked at a bunch of options and I can't decide what kind of plan I want to do. I don't have anyone to bounce ideas off of, so I'm hoping maybe this could be a sounding board.

I'd love to hear what others have done in their training plans to reach this kind of time. Mileage, what kind of running, things like that. My last training plan I modeled off of Brad Hudson and Matt Fitzgerald Run Faster from the 5k to the Marathon book and maxed around 56 miles I think. I've read pretty much every popular training book out there, so feel free to mention.

Thanks in advance!

Lean runners? How?

I'm gonna put this under Body Image, but also tempering my expectations for this post. But curiosity is getting the best of me.

I don't understand how runners get lean. Is it genetics? Nutrition? Training? They can run better on a calorie deficit? I've run 10+ marathons with my fastest last year at 3:27. I know the feeling when it's impossible to train hard and lose weight at the same time. I can't run hard when I'm hungry. You have to pick one or the other.

And actually, it's not even lose weight that I'm looking for. It's changing body composition. I've always picked train hard so I can get my time down. But I'm not a lean runner. I have the muscle mass for the speed, but I hold fatty weight around my gut. No flat stomachs here. But I don't know how to do it, I don't know how runners get the tummy fat to go away. I thought the harder I ran or the more I ran, it would naturally go away. Nope, sure hasn't, it's still there.

I'm sure most people wouldn't consider me fat. But it would be nice to look better in a bikini.

I guess I'm just curious about others thoughts on this topic. Suggestions, if they can relate, all is fair game!
