Sales guys are not the problem!

I would like to explain a little be of how dealers operate for the benefit of those newbies buying a car. Ill start with the lowest range to higher, for those experts feel free to comment if Im missing something.

  1. Sales person (The friend): These people are lowest in range, they are working for mainly 1 person: The sales managers (They call him the boss) . This sales person is the one in charge to contact you to INITIATE the sale process, they are usually friendly, helpful, respectful and "curious" all this is a tactic to gain your trust, they offer water, coffe etc. This person CANT do anything (Price, discounts etc.) without approval from sales managers. When you make it easy on him the sales managers dont need to step in, but when you keep resisting and you are good a negotiation then managers will step in.
  2. Sales managers (The boss): This person has more power and CAN manipulate numbers, discounts, etc. But Still works for someone else: The sales DEPARTMENT manager (they call him this Big Boss). This sales manager is the one in charge to seal the deal and prepare it for the next guy which in my opinion is the worst of everyone: The finance guy, but before talking about the finance guy let me explain the "Big Boss" role.
  3. Sales department manager (Big Boss). The big boss is in charge of monitoring all sales, including how numbers are looking, he meets with Sales managers to show them all charts, he transmit what the dealer needs to do in order to improve sales etc.
  4. The finance guy (The psychologist). This guy is the worst and is in charge of finalizing the purchase. Once you feel you got a great deal and you feel happy about your purchase this guy steps in and BRAINSTORM you with the worst possible scenarios that can somehow affect your vehicle in order to sell you ridiculous THIRD-PARTY warranties.

Let me know if Im missing something. Good luck to everyone.

Have any of you added a second (fake) double exhaust?

Looking to add a exhaust on the passenger side. Even if fake just for the look. Have you done it?

Toyota We need to talk!

Dear Toyota how in the world you think this is ok? The driver wiper has the capability and it should bend all the way until it stays without me holding it. But your hood is on its way. SMH.

Tire pressure

Just got back from servicing at dealer and they keep the tire pressure at 45-46 according to the app. Sticker says 35. Why would the dealership keep it above 40?
