Good refurbished iPhone sellers in Aus?

Finally got my shit together with money this year after grinding hard n now my poor old iPhone 13 is dying on me. Battery gone by like 11am every day adn Apple stopped gving it proper suport.Ofc theyre forcing us to upgrade on purpose, such bs!

Im tryin to be smart and just get a refurbished one insted of geting ripped off again. So many sites out there its overwhelming. Many of them have super good reviews. Came across Phone Exchange and they seem to be legit. Has anyone actually used them before or have u got any other recs?

Also tossing up between 16 or 17. Dont need the brand new one but want it to actually last me 4-5yrs this time round. What do u guys think??

Staying iphone only for now, no android switch.

Thaanks a lot

She’s one of those teachers that genuinely changed the way I see myself and I want to get her something thoughtful at the end of the year, but I don’t want it to feel generic or like another “#1 teacher” mug she’ll never use.

Budget is around $20-30. She likes reading, and always has a million papers/books with her. I was thinking maybe something practical but personal?

I’ve been going in circles about this, so figured I’d ask here.

I live in a house by myself. Well not just completely alone, just me and my two cats. And it’s starting to feel like more trouble than it’s worth. My commute is about an hour each way, which already eats up a big chunk of my day, and by the time I get home I barely have the energy to deal with anything else.

The house itself isn’t a heaven of real estate. It’s literally falling apart piece by piece with all the leaky pipes, the roof’s starting to act up, and I just don’t have the time and the patience to do all the repairs

I thought maybe it will make more sense to move into an apartment closer to the city. Something simpler, less to maintain, and I’d get a good chunk of my time back from not commuting so much.

I came across one of those quick sale options, like bright home offer, that claim they’ll buy as-is and close fast. Part of me is tempted just to cut my losses and get out before the place needs even more work, but I’m not sure if that’s the smartest move or just the easiest one.

Has anyone here gone that route instead of fixing things up first?

I am interested in stories where characters are drawn toward danger or uncertainty, not just external conflict but something internal that pushes them to take risks they probably should not

more about psychology and tension than action, where choices carry weight and consequences

what would you recommend that captures that kind of intensity?

I’ve been deep into Casiopea lately and I can’t get over how different they sound.

It’s not “just jazz.” It feels way more precise, almost engineered, but still super fun and energetic. The grooves are tight, the melodies are catchy, and everything sounds clean in a way that hits your brain differently.

Like… it’s stimulating. Not emotional in a slow way, but mentally engaging. Almost like your brain is being pulled along by the rhythm and harmony at the same time.

I’ve been trying to figure out what makes it work:

  • is it the fusion style + funk influences?
  • the super tight rhythm section?
  • the way the guitar and keys play almost like machines but still feel alive?
  • the production?

I want to make something like that, but I don’t even know where to start because it doesn’t feel like traditional jazz at all.

If you listen to Casiopea, what do you think makes their sound so unique?
And how would you even begin to study or recreate that style?
