Fence whipper snipper damage protection

Hello. We live in a corner. One side the council mows and snips. They’re terrible at damaging the fence. I’ve repainted and fixed previously but they damage it again. I’m not looking to fight with them, I’ve tried, it doesn’t go well.

So instead I’ve told them I’ll do their bit. So I do. It’s difficult to avoid damage I’ll give them that.

I’m thinking about running a strip of something like the tiles I’ve pictured to protect fence from whipper snip. Then repainting.

Wondering what you think of that, if you have any other ideas?

And can those tiles be cut by me or someone else? What’s the best way?

Edit: Council is watching me because of the fight I’m having with them, I can’t do anything to their precious nature strip, planting, paving, cementing etc.

I’m stuck with protecting the fence instead.

Thk u.

Custom face plate for my Steam Machine

I lied. It’s for my Steamed Hams Machine. And it’s a new sticker I printed for .03c worth of ink and a piece of glossy paper.

Also my wife isn’t mad about there being a PC there. She’s wonderful. She’d let me put a main frame there if I asked her and gave her a small jar of Nutella.

Mum can we have McDonald’s?No, We have Steam Machine at home.

I didn’t know the price announcement was coming when it did. I had this mostly put together when the price was announced.

Dell XPS 8940 w/ i7 10700 16GB 2933Mhz DDR4, case, 500w SFF power supply, 1TB NVME, power cable and hdmi/displayport cable - $117USD from marketplace

9060XT 16GB - $280USD from marketplace

Upgraded to tower cooler and put heatsink on motherboard VRMs - $41USD

Had Xbox controller already.

$438USD total. Paid in Australian dollarbucks = $634.91AUD total.

Now. My cope. The CEC and no remote wake up. The humanity. I have to get up and press a button on the PC and use a remote to turn my TV on.

The size. I’m lucky enough to have plenty of room. My life would not be improved if it was less than half the size. I can also just hide it behind the subwoofer and dog toys to the left.

Dual boot. Windows and Bazzite. This is now my primary office PC. Cords ready near my monitor to pick it up and plug it in and get to work for that one moment a week I need to.

Performance. Mine runs rings around the Steam Machine. DDR4, older CPU, slower storage - doesn’t matter one bit since the graphics card is a big upgrade.

Upgrade. Can change the motherboard, CPU and RAM when I want.

I can’t justify the Steam Machine pricing. Not even close for me, it’s a shame, I loved the idea of it.

So I own Assassins Creed Mirage on Xbox. Played it on Xbox, with the disc. Never finished it, saved and put it down.

I opened Ubisoft Connect on my PC over a year later to play something else. There’s Assassin’s Creed Mirage in my owned library. Out of interest I installed it. It opened and loaded at the save point from the Xbox run.

I don’t have any subscription to Ubisoft. I had a couple months worth of Game Pass Ultimate 6 months ago.

No other game unlocked on Ubisoft Connect. No history of me buying it, no one else has access to my account.

I tested it again tonight, cloud saves work back and forward between the Xbox and Ubisoft Connect versions.

Anyone else have anything else like this, seems strange to me?
