On Alaska airlines flight from DC to LA. Was scheduled non stop, but had to land in Phoenix to ‘refuel ‘ , resulting in 3 hour delay. We were offered water and I was told there were no snacks available, but I could purchase food. At a bare minimum think they should have offered us food particularly since this was over the lunch hour and I expected to land in LA in time for a lunch date.
