Slow way down or avoid 63rd st north of grand ave

Clarification: Northbound lanes.

If anyone happens by them and can snap some photos. Would be great when I try and get wheels and tires reimbursed.

The construction crews left two really hard bumps. Popped both front tires going about 30 this morning. One visibly bent wheel.

Similar to the 3 inch 90degree bump they left at the train tracks southbound a few weeks ago.

Should have been plated.

Mk7 subframe deadset and camber adjustment after.

Hey all,

Ive searched here and the forums and not found a direct answer. I plan to do a light suspension refresh soon. In the front I am going to do rs3 bushings along with a subframe deadset/locking kit. My question is since the subframe is camber adjustment, do I need to have alternate adjustable camber or does it not really matter.

oem dcc, no plans to ever lower

Thank you.

Power outages

Anyone out there who knows someone at MidAmerican. I’ve lived just north of the airport for 25 years now, consistently every year we have multiple hours long power outages. It’s out right now actually. normally it’s our block so 4 houses away the power is on. This time across the street is normal.

Our lines are buried so can’t really go down. What the heck is going on. It’s maddening and hasn’t improved in decades.

Non-destructive bonding existing pool

All,

Recently did some reworking of my equipment pad, during this process discovered the bonding from the old pump didn’t actually go anywhere. (Went to neutral on the old panel).

Now that I have started looking, I can’t find any evidence of any bonding. The pool is in ground vinyl, non ferrous walls, with aluminum coping, concrete with rebar deck and a hand rail. We actually had the new liner, coping and decking redone in 2019 and the builder never brought it up.

I have done a ton of searching and water bond is easy with the inline fitting. The rebar, coping and rail are tougher. I don’t have the slightest clue how to get the rest without cutting into concrete.

Anyone done this at all?

Mechanics that install customer provided parts.

I need to replace some suspension components, some of which are press bushings. I try to upgrade as I replace and would like to use some more robust parts and am comfortable doing quite a bit but don’t want to tackle this one. The goal is to replace strut top mounts, control arm bushings, check the steering and maybe an aftermarket strut spring combo. Front and rear.

Fairly understandably; most shops wont let me supply my own parts.

Anyone know of any mechanics that will install customer provided parts?

New salt cell while slamming

Hello

I opened late this year and am still cloudy/slamming but generally balanced. I know the way to go is to add salt and start the cell once fully balanced. is there any major harm in adding the salt and starting the cell while still cloudy?

Another pump sizing question.

Hello,

I made a wiring mistake doing some work around my pump and fried my existing 1.5 VS, it was a no name cheap unit so wasn’t long for the world anyway.

I am struggling with calculating sizing as the pool nerd calculator spat out a much lower number than I expected. I haven’t seen any consensus on if the calculator is trusty or even any other calculators.

Pool is 12k gallon in ground. I measure 131ft total of pipe, 21 90 degree bends, and one check valve. 3 ft lift from water surface and 8 from main drains. The cart filter supports 75 gallons per min.

Is 3/4-1 undersized comparatively?
