IIIT Ranchi cse median PKG this year was 20lpa and avg 22.44 lpa (14lpa last year for cse), and soon iiit R going to have it's own permanent campus funtional

Can you please tell which has better scope after 4 yrs when I graduated?
Say an IIT Madras CSE grad and a BIT Mesra CSE grad both get into Google. Where does the IIT tag still give an advantage, if at all?
IIT Madras CSE usually means a top JEE Advanced rank, while BIT Mesra CSE is around a 35k JEE Main rank. Does that difference still matter after both are in the same company? Or is it all about performance from there?
