Is React the best option for my case or not? What's the best alternative?

So I've been handling this ecommerce site that's built in .Net as backend for quite some time now. The problem that Is noticed is that the frontend code is all over the place. Some of the pages are using vanilla js. Some are running on handlebars. There are pages that using angularjs.

What I want to do is to just use one framework for the whole site with the following considerations in mind

* It should not be an SPA. The backend code is not something that we can recode and convert to API only so easily.

* I want to encapsulate specific site features into their own standalone components. And that they should be something I can use on different pages.

* I'm worried about SEO. I'm thinking it should be something that can work with server-side rendering

* It should'nt be something that's totally new. I need to use something that I can say is reliable. Something that has been proven to be a good option and not something that I'll be pioneering in our company.

* Something that's testable. Something that has support for TDD.

I'm thinking of using react first but when I started thinking about the factors that I just listed, I'm having second thoughts if react is actually the right choice for it.

So, is react a good option for this or is there a better framework I should consider?

How do you even use AI?

I'm a web developer and ha e been in the industry for more than 10 years now. Our company has started subscribing to Claude AI and has given us all permissions to use it. I didn't really care much because I'm a pretty hands on guy and not really comfortable with depending on automated tools to do the work for me. But recently I've been thinking maybe I should try to learn and could probably help me become more productive at work. Problem is I don't really know what I should use it for. A lot of my task are very specific to certain scenarios and needs a lot of context to resolve. I don't really have anything that I do regularly that an AI can help me with. So even though I wanted to try to learn and use it, I don't really know what to do with it.

Apart from the recently viral Ooh La La by Baby Dolls, BINI's Salamin Salamin and Pantropiko, SB19's Gento, are there any other OPM dance songs that have been a hit the past few years? Unlike nung 90s and early 2000s na kaliwa't kanan mga dance song artists. Sexbomb Girls, Vhong Navarro, Bayani Agbayani, Gloc 9's with Baile and Sumayaw ka, etc.

Listening to new songs/artists to expand my library - Part 1: Illest Morena

I have been learning how to DJ for a few weeks now and it's such a fun hobby to get into. I've always enjoyed listening to music but even though I don't really stick to one genre, I got to admit that I have not been exploring much. As a trentahin, I haven't been listening to more recent artists and songs not unless I accidentally hear them from social media or in public. If I do end up enjoying them, only just then that I add them to my library.

Now, if I really want to get into this DJ thing, I need to expand my library so I can play different types of songs and different mixes for different occasions. So here I am starting on a journey to discover new music.

My first pick, Illest Morena.

Disclaimer: I'm neither a musician nor a music critic. I have zero technical knowledge when it comes to making music. I just enjoy listening to them. So whatever I say here is purely subjective and if you don't agree with me. That's totally fine.

I don't have any particular reason why she was my first pick. I have seen her perform live in one music fest but to be honest I didn't really enjoy her performance. I do know of the song Lagabog and I must say she was really good on that one.

The way I approached this is I listened to her latest album called Morenita. I listened to it repeatedly at least 4 to 5 times to make sure I absorb the music properly

It started chill with her title track morenita. She has this sleepy or low mood vibe. Para siyang Al James, who I also like listening to. Very distinct yung voice niya which I think is good kasi may identity siya. Although I did notice that she has heavy influence from Nicki Minaj.

As the album goes on, some of her tracks were a bit hard to listen to. She mumbles a lot and it got really heavy at times. Mahirap na intindihin. Especially with her song Grammy. Although gets ko naman na it fits certain occasions like inuman session. Tsaka pag paulit ulit mo na pinakinggan, makakaadjust ka na and it grows on you. May mga songs din siya na may iisang line na parang yun na yung 60 to 70 percent ng song. Like her song Sabik.

She also likes incorporating latino beats in some of her tracks. Really suits her voice and it adds that she can speak spanish. I really enjoyed those parts of her music.

Lastly, the best part for me. On the latter tracks, she started spitting bars. I can say that she can really rap. She has flow and the swag. I'm not sure if she writes her own songs but there are some really good lines as well. It would be nice if she can do more rap music. Maybe even do a cypher track with other rappers like Flow G, and Gloc 9. I appreciated her rap more than her RnB.

Overall. It was a good listen. I did enjoy it.

I've added a few of her songs on my library:

* PDHMU

* Buena Chica

* Quickie

* One Time

* Money Freestyle

* Public Service Announcement

I've created a mix for one of her songs Money Freestyle. You can check it out [here](https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSXeBuwyK/) if you're interested.

How long it did take before you got good at scratching?

I've been learning how to scratch for a few weeks now and I now understand why it's a difficult skill to master. I've watched some tutorials and I found one where he teaches the basics without using the crossfader. Just some scratch movements without lifting your fingers off the jog wheels. In the end he did a demo on how to use the movements with a beat. That's exactly what I'm doing now. I copied his combo and trying to do them on beat using beat tracks with varying BPM. I'm excited to get into the advanced techniques but I know I'm not ready yet. I wanna get my fundamentals down before attempting advanced combos. Hopefully I can at least do decent ones before Christmas comes up.

What's a good way for two opposite sex people to casually talk?

I'm thinking of writing a story where 2 characters being in the same environment (probably school or a workplace) but having two totally different worlds (one being popular and one just trying to be a regular human). I wanna write them in a way that they develop a friendship together but it's not forced. Like they just so happen to be in the same situation a lot of times that eventually helped them build some rapport. I don't wanna force them into a situation like being force to be in the same team or being stuck in the same place. I want them to still be living in their own world and are still somehow building a relationship.

Any good free tutorials on mastering the echo effect?

I just saw this DJ on Tiktok named benjoselecta and I'm seriously in shock with how he used the FLX4. I've been learning to DJ for about a month or two now (also using FLX4) and has only seen DJs online doing fun transitions from one song to another. I think this is the first clip I've seen of someone actually making remix music on the go that's not scratching.

Here's the link of the video I saw: https://www.tiktok.com/@benjoselecta/video/7652393350946901256

I've noticed that apart from using the cue button to chop the vocals, he used the echo effect a lot and has crazy control with it. I tried searching tutorials on youtube on using the echo effect but all I found was using the echo to transition from one song to another. I want something a bit more in depth that would actually help me understand how the echo effect works and how to properly use it.

How firm are you pressing down on the jog wheels when you scratch?

This is probably a stupid question but I'll ask it anyway. When you press your fingers on the jogwheel to scratch. How firm do you press it down? Do you press it light enough that the surface kinda pivots on your fingertips when you push it clockwise? Or is it firm enough that your skin kinda grabs into the surface and you need to angle your wrist whenever you push to do a clockwise motion?

I'm trying to be as light as possible that the surface pivots on my fingertips when I push. Problem is sometimes the 9 oclock position is not exactly where the beat starts anymore. The longer I scratch, the more my finger slides off slightly that you need to adjust to realign it on 9oclock position again.

When I try the firm one my wrists get tired from all the turning.

Any simple transitions I could try for mixing anime songs?

I've compiled a list of iconic anime songs from the 90s and 2000s that I wanna mix. I've already mixed them in a specific order using simple transitions but I wanna try other types of transitions to make it a bit more interesting

I have tried

* Fade in/out using volume sliders * Echoing out and playing next * Blending phrases then shutting off the first song on the drop * Jumping into the last chorus instead of the first one and letting it play the outro, then play next

What else can I try?

Edit: Note that these anime songs vastly differ in BPM and could even have variance in genres.

Any tips on mixing a really slow and mellow vocal with something upbeat?

I wanna try mixing something that some of the dance movies I watched did with their dance music. The kind of music where they make you think it shouldn't work but it does. Like when on the movie Take the Lead where they mixed ballroom music with Hip-Hop. Or like Step Up where they mixed something orchestral with Hip-Hop.

There's a Bossa Nova artist here in my country that has an amazing voice and I wanna put her vocals into something upbeat.

Any tips on how to pull this off? Like what kind of elements I should look out for? Or maybe some dj sets you know that did this kind of thing that I can listen to and take inspiration from?

I'm never gonna use the Beat Sync button again

I've been trying to mix two songs with high BPM difference. One is about 138 while the other is 105. 138 song is playing on deck 1, 105 song on deck 2. I set master on deck 1 which is currently playing. I turned beat sync on for deck 2, volume fader down and paused. I then played deck 2, started moving volume fader of deck 2 and tempo fader of deck 1 up at the same time, attempting to reach the desired tempo of deck 2 which should be 105.

What's pissing me off is as soon as I started moving deck 2 volume fader up and deck 1 tempo fader, the master automatically switches from deck 1 to deck 2. So deck 1 just slows down and deck 2 is still really fast.

I'm using sa DDJ-FLX4 and Rekordbox. It just annoyed me so much that I just looped deck 1 and slowed down tempo til I reached the deck 2 desired tempo, then pressed play on deck 2 while deck 1 is still playing.

What's a beginner approach to mixing from a high BPM to a lower BPM?

I'm doing this theme based mix and 2 of the songs that I'm trying to mix has large BPM difference. One is 138 while the other is 105. I found some tutorials from youtube but it's mostly from lower bpm to higher.

I just wanna get some tips or techniques I could try.

What are the legalities with using published written content in games?

So for example in the game there is a paper where a specific chapter of a book is written. Or if for example you make a message decoding game and the decoded message is a chapter of a book? Is that affected by copywrite laws?

What's a good beginner dj pool or streaming service I should subscribe to?

I'm only on my infant days of djing and currently learning how to beatmatch by ear. I mostly just download mp3s online just for practicing but now I'm thinking of subscribing to some streaming service so I can easily access different music for practice. I'm using a DDJ-FLX4 and Rekordbox

I don't wanna spend too much since it's only for practice so I don't really plan on buying tracks for now.

I can't seem to align the beat grid for P.Y.T. properly

I tried 127 like what Google results say. Tried 129 like what Gemini said. Also tried 64 and 65 to try to half. It aligns on the first few bars but becomes way off at the middle part of the song. Any tips on how to catch the proper grid? I tried the tap feature on Rekordbox which is showing me around 64 and 127 as well.

Edit: Getting a lot of varied valuable lessons here. I really appreciate it. Thanks!
