Hey friends,

Planning to take the MRT into the city during an 8 hr layover - goal of shopping for snacks(dried fruits, chips etc). Stores/chains(like big c in BKK) walkable from stations along the way would be most ideal. Does Tanah Merah stn have any stores that fit the bill? Open to closer stops on east-west line. Please suggest names with corresponding stations/lines.

Edit : Looking to buy dried mango, similar sweet treats, shrimp chips etc. Prefer such shopping outside airports if an option, hence. Changi is the absolute last option.

1. How good are 9A/K 25A/K for the wing view? if there’s another personal fav (besides rows 7 and 23), please do share.
2. FWIW, any glimmer on 7/23 opening up closer to check in?
3. lastly, is upgrade to F with miles usually an option closer or just marketing?
