It feels awesome. Thanks for all the support and help. Thanks to the friends I made along the way. u/wvumountaineer83 u/unnamed_op2 and u/rare-might-503
After watching Thor: Love and Thunder (2022) I was simply not happy with the "silly" Thor. Don't get me wrong Thor: Ragnarok (2017) was great. I just feel that Taika Waititi took it too far in Love and Thunder.
It's refreshing to see Thor being serious and giving an inspirational speech and being in the forefront as a serious character.

Short question version:
Can you read his books out of series order? Are they self contained?
Long question version:
I read Tom Holt's "you space" series in order starting with the doughnut and the other five books and loved his style of writing. Absolutely had a blast.
Now I am starting the portable doors series and found out my library doesn't have all 8 of the books. They have some but not all.
I also noticed they have other Tom Holt series that are incomplete but I am still interested.
If I remember correctly the "you space" series were connected books by the subject matter but was different characters and different journeys.
So my question is Are all his series like that were you can pick up a book and still enjoy the read, because it's self contained or has some sort of summary?
Bonus question:
Any other authors like him? I would love a suggestion or two.
Thank you in advance
That is it. It's 102 degrees at 5pm. How hot is it where you are at? Are you surviving like Beyonce
So happy to see her get some good rest, even though it is on my fresh laundry 🧺.

I just joined r/Redditstreak and r/streak and all of a sudden got invite chats to join like 5 other subs just like that one called r/achievements for example. Are those the subs you warn us to stay away from because other subs auto banned you for being a member. They seem sus and somehow connected.
How do you prompt a part of someone else's comment into your comment.
