AVOID DACBY FOR PRE-OWNED CONSOLES – My PS5 experience

I bought a pre-owned PS5 Digital Edition from Dacby, and honestly this has been one of the most disappointing buying experiences I’ve had.

Timeline:

• PS5 arrived WITHOUT the vertical stand that was supposed to be included. I had to wait around a week for it separately.

• The console itself arrived with multiple noticeable scratches and cosmetic wear far beyond what I expected from the listing.

Now yes, I understand pre-owned means used. I’m not expecting a factory-sealed perfect console. But there’s a difference between “used with normal wear” and receiving a product in much rougher condition than expected without clear upfront disclosure.

• The controller arrived visibly dirty and scratched.

• Within just ~12 days, the controller developed stick drift.

And before someone says “used controllers can fail” — sure, but that’s exactly where customer support quality matters.

I contacted Dacby requesting a refund due to the overall experience.

Their response:

- Cosmetic wear is normal because it’s pre-owned

- For stick drift, send a video and they’ll review replacement eligibility

Fair enough, I sent the required information/process request.

And now?

Silence.

No response for 3 days.

So current experience summary:

Missing accessory on arrival

Scratched console

Dirty/scratched controller

Stick drift within days

Slow/no follow-up from support
