Basic Tools/Kit for Motorcycle

Getting my first bike tomorrow and was wondering what are the most useful tools or items to keep on hand that are small just in case of any issues when riding - aka wrenches/zipties/screwdriver, etc? Thanks!

I have dual citizenship and recently started to apply for a new passport for one of the countries. I hadn't renewed since I was a kid so the documentation requirements were more than usual and included needing my parents' marriage cert and my father's birth certificate. My dad was an orphan and doesn't have a birth certificate so I went digging pretty deep online for other info and options. One search led to another and I found out that he had been married twice before my mother... and had 2 children with the first woman.

My parents have been married for 45 years and he is 10 yrs older than her.

I know my mum must have known about his second wife because on my parents' marriage cert it says "previous marriage dissolved" under my dad's status.

However, I now have to process the following:

Do I ask my mum about the first marriage?

Also to consider:

  1. If my mum never knew about the first wife or kids, do I tell her?

  2. If my mum knew about the first wife but not the kids, do I tell her?

  3. If my mum knew about all of this all along...wth?...

I'm obviously very shaken myself and am trying to process, but also with these other layers of questions.

Looking for any advice/wisdom/comfort/similar stories 🫶

TLDR: Found out my dad was married twice before my mum and has 2 other children. Don't know how to process or whether to bring this up to my mum.
