I have a 13/14~ year old bichon/pom/Shih Tzu mix (according to the shelter lol). I got him when he was 7~ years old. I found a piece of broken tooth in my bed & he had been itching at his face several times a day & has dental disease so I made an appt for a cleaning & extractions. He had 6 teeth removed, including his canines on 4/20, so about 11 days ago. He’s been doing good since, eating, etc. He had his last dose of gabepentin yesterday morning, and I noticed last night he kept adjusting in bed like he was uncomfortable and almost seemed whiny/groaning a bit. His breathing is a bit nasally sounding but it was before the extractions as well. He’s been itching at his face quite a bit since yesterday & at times seems like he may be slightly uncomfortable. The stitches in the canine teeth are visible, could it just be slight discomfort without the meds and itchiness or something from the stitches? I just figured by this time he’d be 100% back to normal. For the most part he is, & is energetic, playful, wants food/treats etc

Since adopting him, the only health issues he’s had is pancreatitis flare ups (one admitting him to ER for 2 days back in 2021 but he recovered well). I’ve been told by a vet he has a slight heart murmur and then another former cardiologist that he does not, so that’s up in the air.

Just looking for advice, reassurance, etc. Thank you

29 year old female, 5’4, 190~lb, non smoker, anxiety/depression previous medical issues, currently on 40 mg Prozac 50 mg spironolactone.

For the past month or two I’ve had instances of chest tightness, feeling lightheaded/dizzy, brain fog. Because of the chest tightness I I went to the ER about a month ago & got an EKG done, which came back normal.

I do work remotely and a lot of times will sit in my bed or lay on my side on my laptop (which I know is horrible). Today I went to lay on my side and after a few moments I got a sharp chest pain, right in the middle of my chest below my neck/collar bone. I’ve never felt anything like that so I started to panic. I’ve also felt pain/aches in my arms/hands recently. I figured it could be from how I’m sitting/laying while working so I got my roommates back massager out and a spot near my shoulder blade HURTS and aches bad when massaged.

Could that have caused that sudden chest pain that lasted just a second or two?

I also got bloodwork done about a week ago. My B12 was on the low range of normal at 344 and my vitamin D was in the ‘insufficient’ range at 28.2 but not deficient. Possibly contributing to other symptoms as well…?
