note: now you are probably wondering, can the Crossed virus infected the Freaks? and my guess is no, because upon doing some research I found that the Crossed only target human dna, any dna that has been mutated or warp cannot be effect or atleast I don't think so and even if it did it wouldn't be perfect and the virus could crack trying to infected the heavily mutated subject, which is what the TF2 Freaks are, their biologicly doesn't work like a normal human and they operated on a cartoony logic, which could mean there could be a chances where the virus doesn't not recongized the dna as human, this could be the reason why the virus cannot infected animals, but in short in my guess probably a no the Freaks cannot be infected or atleast not fully.
let's say you have enough materials for a monkey bomb in the world of the Crossed, the Crossed do not know where you are and you need to make an escape so let's go over the Pro's and Con's of the Monkey Bomb and decided if we should craft the Monkey Bomb or save your materials?
also I like to imagine on how to used a monkey bomb in real life would be to light the pipe bomb on the monkey back first and then crank the monkey as fast as you can and then quickly toss it because it gonna start making noise and then get the fuck out of there.
So, what if all humans on earth suddenly evolved from nature to be immune to the virus in Crossed and now with this new discovery of being immune to the virus, the remaining humans decided to declare war on the Crossed taking them out, how will it go out for both sides of this conflict?.

okay, let say you found an M79 grenade launcher with a bandalore of 40mm in the world of the Crossed, how good would it be as a weapon and could you survive with this weapon?.
So in the Finals everyone except Light has 4 abilities they can choose from, Light only has 3, so I am wondering what if Light got a Hologram Decoy they can summon as a quick get away to fool other players, it basically acts like Mirage from Apex Legend decoys where it mimic's the player movements until it runs into a wall or the player summons a new one and when it get shot you get a feedback on how far the target is from you, I am think Light should have 2 charges to the decoy's and that it but it a basic and easy to use ability I think could work in the Finals, but what do you think?.
Now I know the Crossed infected are nothing to laugh at but the Deadites in Evil Dead are sometimes slept on due to comedy, anything the Crossed can do the Deadites can do better not only that the Deadites are alot harder to put down, if you shot a Crossed in the chest with a shotgun, they are dead for good meanwhile if you do that to a Deadite they will slowly get up and just laugh at you mocking you before attacking you, if there a horde of Crossed just pray you have a plan and tons of firepower because you will need it, meahwile if its Deadites pray Jesus will save you or God will be one your side because theres not much you can do except fight until the end but even that won't be enough. In the Crossed if there is no way out you can atleast kill yourself to prevent a worse fate however in Evil Dead if you kill yourself you will still become a deadite, so in other word you will be helping the deadites rather than stopping them as you joined the ranks of them, not only that they can possess you even if you are living and if you get bit they can possessed your body part to fight against you but I think you get the point, but yeah that my reasoning on why I think the Crossed are just a downgrade of the deadites.
awhile ago I made a post talking about if someone could make a Crossed SNPC and welp, it happend we now have a Crossed SNPC, it not comicly accurate but it something. The following footage you are watching is gameplay of the Crossed SNPC I will leave a link to the mod on the workshop so you can try it out for yourself, (Note: I did not make the mod on the workshop so please go support the actual guy who did make the mod, hopefully he can continue to update this mod.)
somethings to note though is that they will not investage the source of a sound if the player like fires a weapon but they will chase the player on some maps but for other they will lose track of you or just stop chasing you like mid way. from what I can tell there are atleast 4 types of Crossed which are the following:
Melee Crossed: they will run up to you and beat you to death.
Gunman Crossed: they will spawn in with either a pistol, smg, rifle, shotgun or sniper rifle.
Rambo Crossed: which are Crossed with heavy weapons like machine guns or rocket launcher.
there are different types of Crossed Hordes you can spawn in for a wave of them for you to fight, but other than that you can finally play against the Crossed in Gmod, something I would like to also see is a Suicide Crossed, a Crossed with a grenade or C4 vest that will run up to the player and try to blow up taking out anyone nearby even their own teammates, as for why they Screech like a mutated monster well that because the creator of the mod said he couldn't find a audio for the Crossed where they shout insults and have different screams but he is still looking for one but the Screech is the half life stalker sounds and it just a place holder for now, but yeah this is the Crossed in Gmod.
