FAQ:-

1. How long did you prepare?

I have seen some prepare for 2 years and not make it to 80%ile and I've seen some prepare for only a few weeks and make it to top 5000. It depends on your base, in my case I was tranisitioning (trans quota btw) from a different game so I already had some base. I reached legendary in a weeks time last season and now I'm top 5000.

2. Best weapon?

It is personal preference, I started with M4 then ICR and now use BAL, I think that does the job well. I've seen some prefer USS too but it is made in Israel so I don't use it.

Mentioned 'hope chess' in perfect information as expecting your opponent to make a mistake to capitalize on it and how it is a bad strategy. Business have to be conservative and not hope for the best but have provisions and stuff.

I've gotten my hands on DU buddy Data from 2025 and Aceipm's 2026 data for CUET Maths. There has been a consensus that 2026 was harder than 2025 and the data does seem to suggest the same.

However, as you can see, the difference isn't as dramatic; at least, it isn't as dramatic as I'd assumed. If we see a similar trend in the results, then the cutoff for maths-related courses may fall, given that the difficulty of the other subjects remains constant.

However, it must be noted that this analysis may not hold true for very high percentiles, such as 99%+, as the difficulty has often been noted to be lengthy rather than conceptually difficult. On the contrary, the number of serious maths aspirants (aiming for ISI BSDS) has also increased. Moreover, the data sample isn't very accurate at such high percentiles either--high scorers are often overrepresented in such datasets.

Also do note that 97%ile in the dataset won't equate 97%ile in actual result, this is because of participation bias (97%ile as per dubuddy in 2025 was 187 however 187 fetched 99%+, expect similar trend for this year)

Looking at my cuet-ug raw scores I can fairly expect Bsc Stats at Hindu unless normalisation isn't in my favour.

I wish to know:

1. Employability of Bsc stats: I've heard that campus placement is less about course and more about colllege--is this true? But I've also heard that BA Economics tends to be a better option when it comes to employability. It'd be extremely useful if somebody can share their experience regarding this.

2. How academically tough is it?: Again I've heard that BA Econ is easier than BSc Stats when it comes to maintaining grades. For me it is imperative to maintain a 9 in my profile, maths is not a significant prpblem for me (on the contrary I'd consider myself pretty good at Maths). I wish to know whether maintaining a 9 is really hard? Do people maintain other activities along with maintaining a 9?
