Unpacking after house shifting is a nightmare

I just completed my flat shifting process to Thane today and I am honestly too exhausted to even blink. The packers and movers did their main job, but they literally just dumped all the heavy boxes right in the middle of my living room and left.

I have zero energy to start opening boxes, sorting things out, or organizing my stuff. I just want to clear the main walking space and get my basic bedroom and kitchen items unpacked so I can at least find my clothes, order food, and sleep peacefully.

Does anyone know any quick local service or app here in Thane that sends someone for basic unpacking and organizing help? Someone told me the Pronto app has an option for unpacking help, but do they actually show up fast around here or do they cancel at the last minute? Please guide because I am currently sitting on a cardboard box.

After months of feeling like we were losing each other… this one date felt like a reset

For a while now our marriage has felt like it’s quietly slipping. nothing dramatic, no big fights… just distance. we’re both very career-focused, no kids, and somewhere along the way we stopped showing up for each other. conversations became routine, days blurred together, and it started feeling like we were just co-existing instead of actually being together.

it reached a point where we finally had to sit down and have that uncomfortable, honest conversation. no ego, no blaming… just admitting that things aren’t okay and haven’t been for a while.

today, i asked her out on a date after what feels like forever, and we ended up watching pati patni aur woh do because ayushmann is her favourite. honestly, it felt ironic sitting there watching a film about relationships and failing marriages while ours has been quietly falling apart too.

but somewhere during the movie, we just started laughing again… genuinely, like we used to. for a couple of hours, things didn’t feel heavy or broken, just normal. nothing is magically fixed, but it felt like a small reset… like maybe we’re not as far gone as we thought, and maybe this is how we start finding our way back.

if anyone else is going through something similar… have that uncomfortable conversation. take your partner out, do something simple, do something fun. sometimes it’s the most basic things that remind you why you chose each other in the first place.

Do yall prefer men house helpers or female?

Not to sound sexist xD but recently i fired a male househelp he was so incompetent and blatantly lied for anything, planning to never hire male helps.

Ive been belting mangoes left and right, saur goodddd, i made mango sticky rice, ive been seeing it all over my feed, sooo goood. But i got few mangoes today and they all had small tiny worms over it on the outside, inside nothing was there thankfully, got a nice tip from my pronto helper to soak them in hot water mixed with baking soda overnight.

Was watching The Walking Dead on Netflix and had a random thought…

If a zombie outbreak hit Navi Mumbai, where are you going?

Vashi station = chaos in minutes 💀
Malls seem safe but probably traps
Palm Beach Road = dead if traffic hits

Personally, I’d hide in Kharghar hills and hope for the best 😭

What’s your plan?

- get a marinade mix (game changer) saves most of the time, i use Kilrr, they have amazing flavours

- mix it with some ghee and water, coat it on your chciken pieces

- shalow fry/air fry it!
